Curve Studios' long-in-development Explodemon is finally coming out in January -- just one month after the release of their excellent WiiWare offering, Fluidity. In this trailer, you'll see how Explodemon's titular gift of detonation goes beyond blowing enemies up.

I guess the developer is trying to reach out to the people hoping for a Splosion Man PSN release.

I was thinking the same thing. Just started playing The Maw via Onlive and I'm sorta jealous that Twisted Pixel's games are for the moment, pc/360 exclusive.

Yeah, I remember being dumbfounded that two games were announced in quick succession in which the main character maneuvers by exploding himself.
Let's get over the who copied who garbage for a second. Splosion Man looked kinda fun, but from more of an arcade game, time trial, leaderboards kind of approach. Explodemon looks more like my kind of game, with some puzzles, maybe a little exploration... You know, more of a Metroid or Mega Man style platfformer than an arcade game. I'm looking forward to itt

Am I the only one who has the urge to pronounce this Explode-Mon, as if he were a Digimon?
