Yes, I didn't realize that I had stains all over my shirts until Tide pointed that out to me. Good thing they realize that all gamers are incapable of keeping clean clothes, so *clearly* we're the target demographic for a Tide ad. Yeah...

I'm liking this, this change of scenery and the entire scenario. If I get nothing more than a competent FPS in this setting, I'll be quite content.

Looks epicly janky and samey.

I might pick it up in a year to giggle and show it to South Koreans who don't believe this game could even exist because it is so ridiculous.

Honestly, this game play trailer looked and felt generic.

If I didn't know the premise of the game, I wouldn't have watched this trailer.

I felt the same way. It's turning out to be like that Fall of Liberty game. The screen shots looked amazing, then I watched my brother in law play it when he bought it and I kept thinking how it looked so outdated. The graphics, textures, physics of it all seemed so old. Launch titles on the PS3 looked better than that.

I'm a little worried now about whether or not this game is a buy for me. The scenario might be kind of fun, but if the gameplay doesn't cut it I'm going to pass.

I'll be honest, I was disappointed with that trailer. Not as polished as I would have liked. I'll have to keep my eye on this as it gets closer to release.

Thinking back at the piece of crap kaos's last game was (frontlines fuel of war) it won't be too hard to resist this one.

I don't see how North Korean could invade the United States. That's equivalent to ants coming into my house. Who'd want to invade America any who? They'd come up against some might resistance. We got some crazy asses over here.

Btw Joystiq didn't you kinda shoot the beta down already talking about how it was missing many elements that are commonplace in modern day shooters? Hopefully they'll fix those before release. We shouldn't have to rely on DLC to fix such problems.

Any who, this game has piqued my interest.

@Marco le Polo "Who'd want to invade America any who?"
I don't know...more than half the world that is sick of us starting unnecessary wars and conflicts?
"They'd come up against some might resistance. We got some crazy asses over here."
China would f*** us up.

Yea, but then they'd stop getting movies and I don't think they want that.

Also China does have a ground force of 1.5 million and for hundreds of years, they zealously guarded the secret of sericulture; imperial law decreed death by torture to those who disclosed how to make silk.

His question was more rhetorical. It's a proven fact that many countries could have invaded the United States. Ever watch pearl harbor? That comment, "They could invade the country now and they'd get to the midwest before we could stop them." This was true. Japan even knew we were vulnerable for invasion. Want to know why they didn't invade? It's a constitutional right for US citizens to carry weapons. We'd be a difficult country to occupy. We love our freedom, and our constitution.

Those hippies can say what they want about organizations like the NRA, but it's organizations like that that have saved us from invasion several times in history. The only way I could see a successful occupation in the scenario that the writers have written is for Korea to disable us militarily (according to this scenario, they have a strong military) and China to use its numbers to subdue the population.

But from day one I've never been interested in the "likelihood" of this scenario. Just the dumb fun of it all...

This looks like a very good game, but this game doesn't _look_ very good. I hope this trailer is using placeholder textures and models, because everything looks like a 360 launch title. Given that publishers use the best graphics they can in videos, and there are only 3 months before release, I'm not thinking this is the case, however. Graphics aren't everything of course, but when they're this bad, they can be pretty distracting.
