Red Dead Redemption shipments hit 'nearly' 8 million units

There just ain't no stoppin' the
Red Dead Redemption sales wagon train for Take-Two, as the company revealed today the game has shipped "
nearly 8 million units worldwide since launching in May." The last status update we had was back in early September when RDR rustled up out nearly 6.9 million units.
Don't expect those sales to slow down as the popular game begins popping up on "game of the year" lists (it's already won some of those). And, while it's still Rockstar behind the gun, Red Dead has helped Take-Two reach its first profitable year without a Grand Theft Auto title.
