Not sure how the series got from survival horror rpg to 3rd person shooter, but i really wish it hadn't.

The RPG stat crunch aspects are more pronounced in t3B than in the previous Parasite Eve. They just didn't really show it in the trailer.

@Guts: It's not stupid. I have a psp for a few reasons, but The 3rd Bithday is the first of them all too.
I love the PE main theme "Primal Eyes" (Forbbiden Power in PE2). Hope they retake the ending too "Somnia Memorias".

I will probably preorder this game because it has been so long since I've seen a parasite eve game and that series was awesome... but an interesting observation - there is no mention of "Parasite Eve" in the title... at least according to Gamestop. A search for Parasite Eve yields - results... but type in The 3rd Birthday and you get the game and its release date.
Maybe that is why this strays from the gameplay of the Parasite Eve series?
Perhaps they want Parasite Eve 3 on PS3... assuming this game actually sells?

I would love to play that, it looks super interesting, maybe not groundbreakingly original, but fun nonetheless. Besides that, I've never played a parasite eve game.
