This game is so amazing, it's actually too amazing, as it becomes intimidating to an 'average' user like myself, I don't even want to publish my sub-par creations.

@AMH

Whatever you made in the first LBP, you'll be able to top in this one. If you're an average creator I'm not saying you'll automatically be able to create something like this. But they have new tools that actually simplify some of the logic of LBP1. It can go either way really, more simple if it's just a normal platformer, or it can be more complex if it's a full game.

@AMH Scared as an "average creator"? How you think I feel! I had the #1 most hearted level in LBP1. I wont dare try and compete with the epicness so far...

This is really good. I can't wait to see what people make once the full retail game comes out, I'm sure some of the more "hardcore" creators will spend weeks on their levels.

I'm going to finish my levels that I didn't finish using the LBP2 tools. I didn't finish them because of a mixture of being too ambitious and being lazy. One of my levels is inspired by Heavy Rain, your choices affect the outcome of the ending, but I'm only about 1/16th done and the thermometer is almost full because of how much logic I have in the level.

Anyways, I had a really stupid moment when I chose this name. I made it when Futurestiq started and I didn't realize you couldn't change your name after you made it. So I'll be "Prepping for LBP2" even after it's out.

Yeah, the crappy naming rules are the icing on the horrible comment system cake. You'd think after about 5 years, they'd just go back to teh original where we were calling out people by their number.

This is the #1 reason I'm getting a PS3. Nowhere near the only reason. God of War 3, inFAMOUS, and all the HD Collections are pretty high on the list.

The thing I had against LBP is that the modding community was stupid. They'd mod everything that was eported man. That's the only reason I will never play LBP ever again.

I tried the first little big planet and although interesting It wasn't my cup of tea, but what intrigues me is how all these user created games are just rip offs of games that are out there and that game developers are throwing down law-suits left and right. unless they fall under the fair use law in which case i can understand why no law-suits have been issued, but I have yet to see anything original come out of the user generated videos which is kinda of dissapointing

@asojax That's only because the parody levels are the only ones that get any press, there are thousands of levels that dont rip anything off, it's just easier to find a level based one something because of how easy it is to just search for "batman" or something.

Well, I was going to try to give them the benefit of the doubt, and make no mistake, this is impressive; but I'm noticing the same floatyness I disliked in the first one.

I had hoped they'd give a little more control over the actual physics and such of the game in hte second one, but I just wasn't too much a fan of the first, so I'm gonna pass on this one.

@Synner

They turned down the levels gravity so the jumps would be more floaty like in 2d fighters, how's that for giving control of the physics?

Like all of these "epic" Little Big Planet creations, it is impressive that they were able to do it given the constraints, but it does not look fun at all and if it was made in an actual engine this would be embarassing.

@MULTIATOR Don't DARE speak bad about LBP... I mean really, not liking that game is a joystiq felony.

People really have low standards if they are so defensive about that game IMO, the main game itself didn't appeal to me much, but the create part could have been great if every user level I played didn't suck, and every cool one get removed for copyright violations.

@Cloud Connected Hey guys, Cloud Connected said that LBP is the only great game on PS3.

We all worship him as our god and there's no questioning his opinion, so I guess we better ignore GOW3, Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, infamous, Heavy Rain, 3D Dot Game Heroes, GT5, The Last Guardian, Metal Gear Solid 4, Motorstorm Pacific Rift, Ratchet and Clank, Resistance 2, MAG and all the other great titles.

After all, IT'S THE TRUTH.
