My favorite Halo memory is watching the trailer for Halo 3 and seeing the Master Chief dive into the crowd of Covenant at the end. I liked all the games, but that trailer summed up the vibe of the Chief so well and got me stirred up for the game.

My favorite halo memory. When purchasing the first halo game buying it a a midnight launch. I went home and my friend came over to do some co-op halo play. That whole night we ran through the game having a blast. When reaching the last part driving through the tunnel near the end I got wedged up and the clock was ticking. My friend loco was in the back of the warthog gunning at the flood and the covenant. He yells at me "Run, go get to the ship."

I take off running for the drop shop at the end that you leave in and finish the game. It was so so awesome how it set up.

Playing in a Halo tournament in high school in the computer lab with 16 other people all day, instead of going to class. And we were excused from class as well! The computer lab teacher totally covered us and was playing some himself. Great fun.

Well, on Halo 3 I was in the middle of the Rat's Nest map and I jump into a Warthog that's in the middle. Some guy immediately starts shooting so I jump out near the middle exit, he almost kills me and I throw a grav lift bouncing the Warthog up in the air.

I jump into the Grav Lift and my head bounces off the Warthog in mid-air and sends me flying to the side, the guy has no idea where I went and I bash him in the back of the head. lol

back in college, we set up 4 TVs, and 4 X-boxs in the Quad lounge and had 16 players at once in a giant system link game. Any poor soul who opened the door would immediately hit the wall of sound composed of pure profanity. It was a magical moment.

In the original halo just beasting in the warthog on blood gulch. With that thing you could zoom around the map and take out any enemies at will. Add a pistol and the sniper with that and it was practically unstoppable.

I'm sure I've recounted this'n before: Some friends were playing the first Halo, on that map with a whole lotta walkways spanning the center, and one of them launches a sticky nad (yeah, we called them that; prolly still would) from, IIRC, the ground floor up to one of the higher tiers and lands it RIGHT ON THE OTHER GUY'S FACE. As in, his visor was blue everywhere but the edges. Amazing shot. IIRC, he had walked into a room (or generally "not in the open of the walkway") by the time it fully set in for us all, and all he could say was, with a smile, "**** you, Jon."
