Dissidia 012 [duodecim] trailer full of feats (also, some feet)

Here's the latest trailer out of Japan for the upcoming Dissidia 012 [duodecim] Final Fantasy, featuring lots of Final Fantasy-flavored fighting and fan service. Make sure to turn on captions (not that they'll help), and stay tuned at 4:38 to see some feet that fans claim belong to Yuna.

Lightning was a military, tough woman; Yuna was a whinny little bitch that only lost to Tidus himself in this department.

But whatever, Fang is the definitive kick-ass female character in the last batch of Final Fantasies (Before her, only if you go all the way back to FFVI and throw Celes in)

Yuna is what I hated about FFX. Actually, everything about FFXIII is the same reason I hated FFX. In fact, I didn't understand why FFX got so praised when it was just as linear as FFXIII, which is it's main complaint.

The feet are totally Yuna.

I hate Vaan. Talk about a one-dimensional character. He didnt even have unique skills because the ffxii grid was a downgrade from ffx.

Vaan had a nigh permanent place in the reserve list in XII.

...I dunno, at least when I'm practicing I have a good target, kinda makes it easier when its a character I can't stand.

That was part of the point of FFXIII, to set up your characters the way you wanted without having to worry about specific character issues. Everyone can do everything, it was just whatever you felt like worked for them.

Ashe* I'm sure it's alright either way. (probably either mistranslated by SENA or extra E for a feminine effect similar to the French language) Vaan is a little misplaced due to his immaturity and lack of ...awesome. I'm sure if he wore what he does in Final Fantasy Tactics A2, he'd be awesome. Then again, most of the Final Fantasy XII main characters were outcasts. Go figure.

I played with all of the FF games excluding dissidia. Does it contain Rikku and/or Cid (any of Cid's form)?

It does have several versions of Cid, at least in the first game, but they were all part of the tutorials and such, and not actual fighters.

A shame, seeing as I'd love to play as the FF7 Cid, at least for nostalgia's sake, seeing all those "%^@$%@^@@^$^@#@$@" across the screen would brighten any day.

Why summoner Yuna over dressphere Yuna? Oh well I'd like to see what they do with that! And I hope this means Seymour can come as well, due to the strong connection they had in X, god hopefully not Leblanc or Shuyin.

Maybe it'll be like the beginning of X-2? Where she appears normal at first, then busts out into her singing outfit. Would also give her a cooler finisher, aka Floral Fallel (or whatever). Only issue I see is what dress-spheres to use though.

Please squeenix... PLZ make a ps3 version. I have a psp and its not like i wont be getting this but... a high def Dissidia would be amazing.

It's not so much the clothes or feet that got me, it's the fact that Yuna was walking on top of the water as if performing a sending that told me it's her.
That's still totally her dress though.

I just jizzed. There's no need to speculate anymore; that IS Yuna.

OK, so why didn't Tifa recognize Sephiroth? This game doesn't make any sense!

I'm pretty sure it's explained somewhere that they remember nothing from before they get pulled into the 'conflict' and they forget again every time it resets.

@The Only Girl I blame Square-Enix for caring about their fans for stupid things. I mean, isn't the reason that Vaan is the main playable character because Basch was too manly and S-E thought the fans wouldn't like it?
