wait...no ACTUAL Albums or artist choices etc? I take back what I said about this being a ZunePass equivalent.....this seems to be like Pandora.....but not free......

I'll hold off until they let me download unlimited music of MY choosing....

Played with the free trial a little bit.
It's a streaming service so no downloads.
You can choose any album you like (as long as the artist is available) and play it full or parts of it.
You can browse for artists and play their tracks, build playlists etc, just like you would with "your own music".
You can also listen to "Channels" which pretty much play random tracks from the selected genre.
Also, you can upload your iTunes Library file and all your playlists and tracks will appear as "in your library" for easy access and convenience.
It's not like last.fm when you don't get to choose which songs you listen to (unless you choose the "basic" subscription package), it's basically a huge library of tracks "in the cloud" that you pay to use.

I guess it would be cool if the "basic" which is basically last.fm was free. But alas it's not. The only redeeming factor is that it works on both PSP, PS3, PC, Mac, with mobile access to music coming soon-ish.

Even with this, I still think it's to expensive for what it does, though.

yea...still not on par with Zune Pass....I hope it gets there tho....since I will most likely have numerous PlayStation products this would be very useful to me IF it does what ZunePass does....

? If you are talking about the PS3 feature, it has been there for like two years or something, but no one implements it, not even Sony first-party titles.

@Nobledevil Gaming Optimist Sony isn't going to put the game screenshot for every damn game and I tell you that PC is more better than this.

Disappointed in this actually.

Not only is it expensive.

But, Ireland get it cheaper? £3.99 is the same as Euro 3.99? Nope
Sony, get on the ball. Spotify PS3. Nothing else.

Stop trying to rip us off.

Spotify or nothing... I'll stick with using my Squeezeboxes and the Spotify plugin on my little fan free Atom based machine.

indeed, spotify or nothing, literally. The music industry needs to wake up that this isnt the way to introduce people to new music.
