Got my copy early this morn. Hope people still play.
I'm honestly now looking forward to the daily deals being done. I buy something almost every day. With the quality arcade releases going on now...it's a real rub on ye olde wallete.

This game is great, but it's not for everyone. I can't deny that it's quality-made, but I've played it probably 10 times since Summer of Arcade. Try before you buy. If you like the demo, you'll love the game - just be sure it's your style of game.

@Dam0wned I believe what he is saying is that after a while (a short while he fears) they will stop with DLC and updates while STEAM gets a bunch of free updates that just keep coming. Long short, he's scared of TF2 on console.
At least, that's what I took away from it.

@Dam0wned It gets advertised on the dashboard which drives sales but it's the responsibility of the publisher to pay for adverts not ms.

@Jack Kevorkian I would too - in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, I have heard that SEGA is not discounting Sonic 4 as deeply as other publishers have discounted all the other games on this promotion. I have head that Sonic 4 is only dropping $5 off the regular price. It's still a decent deal, but when you consider that everything other daily deal during this promotion has seen discounts ranging from 50% off to 75% off the regular price, it does make SEGA look like a bunch of cheapasses not to follow the trend.
It would be one thing if Sonic 4 looked as good as this FREE fan remix of Sonic 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1U2njsRhaDA&fhd=1 Unfortunately, Sonic 4 does not come close to looking as good as it should, and that is going to influence my judgement some, as to whether I think it's a definite purchase even with a $5 discount.
By rights, in keeping with the rest of the promo, Sonic 4 should be at least 50% off. I'd buy it in a heartbeat then. But considering that Limbo is expected to be the sale item on Friday, it's hard to justify spending the caps on Sonic 4, when platforming excellence is only a day away.

@IsItInYet That's a shame. Undead Nightmare, well actually all of the Red Dead Redemption DLC was the very first discounted items on the Countdown to 2011 promo last week. You could have gotten it all for 50% off the regular price if you had purchased it then.

This was one of those games that came out in the summer that I paid zero attention to due to the 1200 MS point price. Now with this price drop, I've done some research and it sounds like it'll be a fun game, so I'll pick it up.
It pays to wait. Heck, I've purchased every post Christmas deal MS has offered (games at least, not avatar items). And I purchased one of their Holiday season games (Risk).
I have to say, of all the purchases so far, i think I've most enjoyed the Lara Croft: Guardian of Light game. I knew it would be good, but I'm glad I waited for the inevitable price drop.

Wouldn't it have made more sense to discount this on Monday?
I'll save my money for Limbo on Friday (and the Steam sales, obviously).

Damn these deals! Already got Carcassone and Lair of the Shadow broker.
I tried the trial for this game a while ago, I can't seem to get the strategy, though. Granted, both times i tried to play I was a little drunk or tired...anyone have advice? I like tower defense games, should I get to soldiers instead?

@Petebot330 Toy Soldiers is easily one of the best arcade games on the console. I'd say it's a can't miss and my own opinion is it's better than MNC.
