I don't normally envy hardcore PC gamers. But these great Steam sales are one of the times that I do. Great prices. :)

I just joined the world of PC gaming. The Moon shines really nicely over here.

Steam is simply dazzling.

Why envy? I'm assuming you posted your reply on a PC, right?

Yeah, on a PC that's so old and busted it has problems playing Minecraft. =P

Really? I've seen equal or better prices for console editions of almost all of the above games. Not to mention the fact that their MSRPs are $10 less than their console variants, so all in all the deals are not THAT great. Sure, for someone who hasn't seen a lot of console deals or chart their progress a lot, they might want to look at these, but it really is nothing to get envious about.

@metamorphic

You must not buy PC games often. They're up to $60 to match consoles now.

These are amazing deals. You can't get L4D2 for $5 any where else

Er, where do you buy your PC games? Of all of the PC games I've seen, almost all of them (barring limited editions and such) are MSRPed at $49.99, including the upcoming games Duke Nukem Forever, The Sims Medieval, BioShock Infinite and almost every other game out there. It seems you don't buy PC games that often or someone is ripping you off, son.

Only games I can think of that are MSRP $60 brand new are the Call of Duty games. Any PC gamer who buys a Call of Duty game @ $60 deserves to rot.

This holiday sale stuff is starting to get FREAKING AMAZING

Serious.

I may never shop retail again! I'm looking forward to being able to hack my Kinect so I can be naked in real life, but when I'm video chatting in 3D I can make me wear the VIRTUAL clothes I purchased from EA/Sprint.

I'd probably buy Singularity if it was properly priced at 20-30 dollars with 50% ontop like almost any other game that came out in early 2010. Oh Activision, does your greed know no bounds?

I've bought over 20 games from Steam since their sale started and I haven't even spent $50 dollars so far, plus the sale isn't even over yet. Amnesia the Dark Descent for under $5 was ridiculous.

@The Joy of Painting w Bob Ross

I've picked up 30 games so far and have spent around $75 with the most expensive being MW2 at $29. My wishlist has dropped drastically with the remainder being the rest of the CoD series which I don't see getting a much needed discount.

If you haven't played it already the War for Cybertron is surprisingly decent. Especially if you're jonesing for something like Gears of War.

Only thing I really want, or at least not that I already own, is N4S:HP, but I don't really want to play that on PC. Seems like a better console game to me. Never been a big fan of driving games on PC.
