This better be making its way outside of Japan, I've had to replace my water damaged PSP in anticipation of its release. Or else I have to buy a Japanese version of this game with outrageous shipping fees.

@Tsubasa1

I just went with the cheaper Asian version (from Play-Asia) of the game. It's exactly the same as the JP version.

Also knowing Capcom's track record, it wont be here for another 6-7 months.

Good for em. The MH-esque games are certainly not my cup of tea, but I can't deny that it's what kept the PSP relevant in the market. Would be even better if people started buying more of the other good games out for the system, but I've learned to not expect much from the common man at this point.

You would think that with the sales outside of the US being huge that would warrant a US release even if its numbers would be predicted to be alot less here in the US.

Weren't there also rumors that MHP is "shifting" to the 3DS?

@commenter7 I'd love to see it come to iOS as well. That said, MH3 on the Wii was pretty grindy (guess that's the nature of the game).

Quite a feat for a game that in it's very nature, is as un-casual as a game can possibly get.

I was hoping to see a PS3 version some day but I'm not holding my breath.

@Pure Black World Tendency I usually hate grinding for materials in video games, yet in Monster Hunter I find killing a boss over and over strangely, therapeutic. It's like practicing against the same character in a fighting game, get used to its patterns, etc. And the move set for each weapon has its beauty in simplicity and emphrasis on timing, unlike other action game's over complicated combos
