Ghouls n Ghosts... I hate that the TurboGrafx version was better than the one for my Genesis

So are these PS3 / PSP cross-compatible? Also, I'm interested to see pricing. There are only a handful of games from the TG16 that I would even consider getting (and, frankly, they'll probably just sit on my hard drive collecting dust, just like the Sonic's Genesis Collection disc on my shelf), and if they end up overpriced like the recent Neo Geo stuff I'll just stay away entirely.

@BrianReal Yes, like PSone Classics and Minis, these are compatible with PSP and PS3 via one purchase.

These games will get played as much as Gamecenter games on XBOX. So that means never.

Did you ever play Bonks?

Didn't think so.

One day, they will offer Sega CD, Turbografix CD, and Sega Saturn games as classic downloads. And on that day, I will finally be happy and content.

I was one of 'those people' who had a TG-16 and not a Genesis, and was floored when the Wii started offering them in their online store. IMO here are the top 10 TG-16 games in no particular order that PSN should pick up: Bonk's Revenge, Military Madness, Blazing Lazers, Lords of Thunder, Devil's Crush, Y's I & II, Bomberman 94, Splatterhouse, Ninja Spirit, and Dungeon Explorer. Devil's Crush is MUCH better than Alien Crush.

What about Spriggan? I'd love to play some old Compile shooters right now. I wonder how Bonk is without the turbo switch to let you "fly," though?

SNKP really dropped the ball by not having trophy support for the Neo Geo releases. I didnt buy any of the Neo Geo games because of that. Most I already own on some other console (including the original Neo Geo Gold).

Trophies would have really motivated me to play through them all again. (not that one really needs Motivation to play Metal Slug or Samurai Shodown) but w/o trophies I can just play them on my PSP or PS2.

That said, I really hope these TG16 games have some sort of Trophy Support. I will probably pick up Alien Crush and Bonk if the price is right regardless as I dont own them anymore, but would love if they got the full "goodies" treatment.

Also, Military Madness please.

@KneeKneePS3 No trophies. These are just ROM dumps. However, unlike the NeoGeo games, these games a PSP/PS3. So your purchase is cross-compatible.

Look at you Sony, knowing exactly what fans want. No name games from a system that was pretty unpopular in the grand scheme of things. Oh, dont look now, Microsoft is announcing 3DO Classics for XBLA!

@AFATALERR0R Oh one more thing. You can take time and resources to emulate crappy old games but screw that system you made that was pure success. PS2 emulation = NEVER coming to the PS3.

@AFATALERR0R You should read rather than posting the dumb stuff that pops into your head. Hudson is doing all of the work here, so Sony isn't wasting any of their own time and resources other than the usual approval process resources.

I'd care if most of these weren't already on VC/I didn't have the ones I wanted. Nice for PS3-only users, though. It's a shame the PC Engine's better games often didn't make it to America, but some of them that hit our shores were actually better than people give 'em credit for.

I still wish they'd put Keith Courage out in some form, though. Yeah, the game was kinda silly and is outdated by today's standards, but it was awesome if for no other reason than the horribly CHEEZY comic book it was packed with: http://sardoose.rustedlogic.net/reviews/kcourage/index.htm

@Red Runner Kieth Courage is the reason I re-acquired a physical TG16 console. I played it through in one sitting of less than an hour (and getting all swords). For some reason as a kid I remember grinding forever for money and it taking a lot longer.

Guess I've improved.

That list needs:

Sidearms
Bloody Wolf
Splatterhouse
Rtypes
JJ & Jeff (lol!)

Consider Bonk's, Soldier Blade bought.

I would kill for "It Came From The Desert". I've still got my Turbo Duo and the CD, but I'd like an emulated copy.
