What, no three-dimensional and touch-manipulatable jigglies?

@RedViv That'll be in DOAX3D. I think this game is the one where they try to pretend to be a legit fighting game.

Wasn't it confirmed before that there are jiggle physics and they're (somewhat) controlled by the accelerometer?

@RedViv

It's either in this game or the Ninja Gaiden game, but the tilt sensor in the 3DS is tied to mammary movement, or at least it was as of E3

I'm assuming there will be an option to turn this feature off for multiplayer.

Right, but you have to hit it plus a directional based on what attack the opponent is trying to hit you with to successfully counter. I'm mostly kidding, I'm usually decent at it except for if I haven't played any of the games in a while.

Okay, it's getting bad now. It's gotten to the point now where when I just see a picture of the 3DS all open and ready to touch like that, I start getting excited.

@Uncle Jesse Protip: touching the screen won't cure this excitement.

If Itagaki was still with Tecmo, you just KNOW they'd include a special "Bad Touch!" mode.

Still don't see why a newbie-friendly interface like this is hated by the 'hardcore' crowd. Whether you do a right-down-diagonal right or press a button a dragon punch is still a dragon punch, and if timed wrong it's useless anyhow. It's like requiring a command sequence to reload a sniper rifle in CoD... wait, that might not be such a bad idea.

I realize it wasn't the point of your comment, but that sniper idea actually sounds... really interesting.

I think the ability to send off a combo by touching it would be a good way for people to learn when to use it, and see the results before investing the time in memorizing it.

Agree. A major barrier to entry for fighting games for me has been getting aclimated initially, figuring out what's what. This could be the precise cure i need
