Good, it's refreshing to see someone realize that not being a douche is better than being a douche.

He saw the bitchslap coming from the courts if he tried to press it, and backed off.

Personally I think when your work is blatantly ripped off, you're entitled to be a douche.

I believe that at the moment one of the most top paid Apps is "Burn The Rope". Although the gameplay is ENTIRELY different the name " The Rope" is very similar to "Cut The Rope"

@Nap
I think its time to start pitching "RopeBurn - the Rope Strike Back". The poor thing can only take so much punishment before retaliating.

@Nap I was greatly disappointed that 'Burn the Rope' wasn't this:

Wow, what a well written and well articulated response from the Lima Sky guy about this situation.

That's one way to turn public sentiment right around.

I wish Apple would do more to protect IPs and trademarks. As it stands, the App Store is filled with deceptively-named shovelware that takes money away from unsuspecting consumers as well as hard-working developers. A search for "Nazi Zombies" brings up a page full of results that doesn't even include the CoD:WaW game you're probably looking for (but does include "Doodle Zombies" :P).

Too many people are seeing this as just another "Edge" case, but this developer isn't being unreasonable in trying to protect fundamental elements of his IP.

@sigma8

I believe it's because it's a play on the phrase "witch hunt".
