I don't know who Stone Sour is, but I originally read it as 'Stone Roses' and needless to say, my smile has faded.

@Epoque Agreed - sometimes I appreciate that HMX tries to vary things by bringing lesser known bands in, but Rock Band by nature is a party game. Nobody wants to sit around with their friends and play songs they don't know.

Full on frown if you heard their music.

Lets just say,

You don't need to bother.

@Epoque They're a band made up mostly of members from Slipknot with one or two exceptions.

Oh man, that would have been sweet!
Anyway, Stone Sour, you've never heard of them? If I were you, I'd keep it that way.

@sicsided

That song is made of pure, Grade A ass.

I'm going to go play Psychosociala and Sulfur.

Reborn is about the only song I would play on RB, but I would pay for it.
Out of the songs I have heard from them.
Orchid wouldn't be bad.

Stone Sour has been around awhile, and with Corey Taylor, (lead singer of Slipknot), it will make for some fun vocals. It's a good start, but I would've liked to have seen "30 30 150" in the mix as well.

Their first album was pretty metal but they've gone from Stone Sour to Pillow Sour... I dig some of their stuff but the first album is their best.

Corey Taylor is one of my favorite frontmen. Stone Sour might skew more towards hard rock than metal, but I love their songwriting style. Needless to say, instant buy on all three for me. I'd still love to see songs like Reborn, Get Inside, or Monolith, though. I won't complain, I never thought they'd be in the game. Now where the f*** is Chevelle???

Deep Purple pack please.... Child in Time begs to be played in RB3, seriously, the song was prob the inspiration for rock band 3's keyboard and real guitar route lol

More like "metal", eh, eh, eh?

My friend on this subject:
They won a grammy for "best metal album".
Mind you, so did Jethro Tull, and while Jethro Tull is great, I don't think they're metal :-x

there's one way to tell if they're metal or not
if the local "hard rock / alternative" station mentions them, they're not metal.
yep, they have lots of mentions on their website

Wow.. I wanted at least 1 song from their first album. Bother would be amazing on vocals and Get Inside would just be all around amazing to play. Still gonna buy this

Know bad song jokes yet?
Don't worry, I got you Joystiq. I just need some others to fill in the rest:

I'm looking at this through some glass (ipod touch to be specific). About 1 minute of time has passed. _______________

I'd buy this in a heart beat if i had Rock Band 3, but I don't want to buy the actual game because of all the 60's, 70's, and 80's music. I personelly don't care for any music from those decades(except metallica nad Misfits).

Meh. That's my response to this weeks DLC. Hmx had been doing so well for the most part with their DLC since RB3 came out, but this and LP are disappointing. They need to put more 50's and 60's, like Chuck Berry, Eddie Cochrane, Buddy Holly, Bo Diddley, The Kinks, The Stones, Jefferson Airplane, Joplin and so many others from those decades.

@kingjollygreen I'd like to see a few more track pack sequels, or track packs for bands that have only had 1 song in the library so far.

I.E. Beck, Primus, etc.

I'd like to see a full Faith no More pack and a Talking Heads 02, also

stone sour is amazing so i'm definitely happy with this pack. now can we get some hardcore stuff please? A Day to Remember, Asking Alexandria, Broadway, The Devil Wears Prada, A Skylit Drive, We Came As Romans, etc. Or even stuff like Saosin and Senses Fail.

@crazygoalie39 There's definitely some Devil Wears Prada out there already - either in the store or the network, not sure which.

For my part, I'd like some Porcupine Tree already, maybe some Anathema (old or new, both are decent). I've just about given up on Opeth getting tracks :( . How about some Agalloch, Harmonix - the new album has fun drumming. Or Deathspell Omega if you're feeling metal, I suppose.
