Goo'd deal: Word of Goo for iPad is now half-price

World of Goo, 2D Boy's sticky-stretchy indie puzzle platformer, has been available on iPad for a month, and to celebrate the occasion the game is now $4.99 for a limited time. At half off, it's an absolute steal for an outstanding game we included in our 2010 iOS buyer's guide.

Dang! Me being an early adopter, I jumped all over that the day it came out. Too bad. Well, at least I had it for the Christmas road trip to see family.

Wonder when Kyle Gabler will announce his next project. World of Goo was an amazing experience on PC about 2 years ago and I love the small stuff he does for Experimental Games Project every so often.

Any news this game comes out for the iPhone/iTouch any time soon? Or did it get cancelled for those 2 so it's only for the iPad?

I don't know if it would necessarily work on an iphone or ipod. The screen size might make the game extremely difficult. It's perfect on an iPad, but the iPhone might just be too small. Not saying they wouldn't make it, just that I think it'd be difficult to play.

@Skywalker Jade I honestly don't mind playing it on a small screen as great and addictive this game is. Pinch and Zoom doesn't bother me. I don't plan on getting an iPad so my iTouch is the closest thing to making me carry this game around wherever I go. My hope is that they still make the game on the iTouch since they haven't said any news of cancelling it...
