I'm happy DCUO is selling well. The beta was fun after all the patches. If this year didn't have so many titles releasing i would of bought DCUO. Maybe they'll lower the sub cost later in the year.

I just bought DCUO on Friday. It's a great game! I hope it'll be a critical AND commercial success. :D

DCUO has been out in the UK for what, three days? Not bad for just three days on the charts.

I'm really interested in trying it, but I still haven't set up a web connection in my flat at uni, where I would have to play it for the next 3 months.

Do you get a free month sub or anything with a purchase?

@MrAlex
You do need a credit card though to set up a subscription first, then you get your 30 free days.

Just saying because I know a lot of people didn't know this and got caught out.

I was pleasently shocked by how fun the game us! Can't wait for the inevitable green lantern pack so I can be called a poozer
by Killawog himself!

Gotta admit that I'm interested in this game, just for the universe its in, even though it doesn't sound revolutionary in its MMO'ness.

Still monthly fees and whatnot. If it was a free-to-play model then I'd be in there, no questions asked.

Just Dance 2 moves up and Kinect Sports is still there, what's going on?

The responses in this thread should give DC an indication of how many people are willing to pay. Very, very few.

@Jack Kevorkian

Actually, the people who AREN'T willing to pay are on here, the forums, etc. talking about wanting it to be free-to-play.

The rest of us are actually online in DCUO playing the game, and enjoying the heck out of it! (When I'm not stuck at work reading Joystiq, that is...) There are a lot of people online, so much that the servers crashed over the weekend. As long as that was fixed quickly, this game is already a big success.
