League of Legends admin fired after streaming misuse of power

Riot Games has fired a customer service representative who live-streamed his misuse of administrative powers during a League of Legends bout. VE3D reports the employee verbally abused a player and inappropriately banned him. Riot Games' community relations director Steve Mescon announced today the employee is no longer with the company and it will be reviewing internal policy and training procedures to "prevent such incidents from happening in the future."

Another incident for the employee-related community relations nightmare file.

The forums lit aflame as soon as the screenshots hit. 100+ pages in a few short hours. Well deserving of a ban though. Called him an Ignorant F* and a... let's just say it's a racial slur for asians and rhymes with nuke.

Speaking of banning...

...its nice to see some of those types finally getting what they deserve...not saying all moderators and GM's are bad...but there are quite a few out there that get a God complex and need to be taken down a peg and brought back to reality.

I think he might've escaped termination if it wasn't for the racial slur. There are people of Asian background working at Riot. Not easy to keep your job after saying something like that.

Dang, wish this admin did his little shenanigans during pre-season. How on Earth did scrubs exist in the 2000 ELO range, I don't know. Good times... not.

You know what? Scratch that. I could've used his little shenanigans TODAY -- ELO decay from 1841 to 1816, so I figured, "Hey, gotta get that one game every two weeks!" (having a PS3 in the dorm > getting the for-sure scrub in your 5v5). Next thing you know, I get an awesome game -- two scrubs whose ELOs were in the 1900s. How on Earth do you die as a Janna / Shen @ bot lane without getting ganked is.. rather odd, especially at this "high" ELO. Of course, they just had to be on my team.

Oh well, shame on me for doing solo queue ^^;
