Yakuza 4 to pummel faces on March 15
24
Sega surprised us this afternoon, updating its "Spring 2011" release window for Yakuza 4 in North America with a March 15 release date. The title will arrive exclusively on the PlayStation 3, and, as promised, will bring back hostess clubs that were missing from Yakuza 3's North American release.
A new trailer for March's mafia brawler was also released, showcasing the game's eccentric personalities and their flashy fighting moves. We'd be lying if we said we weren't most excited to play as Kazuma Kiryu -- he's the dude you see above totally flipping out.

For a split second I thought that was the rocket launcher from Duke 3D.

@MLC I loved Yakuza 3 and will be getting 4, the only reason I didn't keep is because I'm not a fan of sandbox games that won't let you play a particular mission without having to start over. That is the reason why the only sandbox game I've kept is SR2, all sandbox games should have this feature.

I bought Yakuza on a whim for EUR 10,-. It's on my backlog but I hear such good things about it....should I start ME2 or Yakuza? Decisions, decisions.

@Fillem ME2. I think all the ME2 DLC is free for PS3 too. But for a limited time.

Don't let me down this time SEGA. I will be waiting to see if there are any unannounced cuts.

Even with the cuts Yakuza 3 was great. Glad they're bringing this out over here! Now if we can get the PSP one and Kenzan I'll be a happy man

Cool. I'm waiting for this, although I'm kind of worried about adding zombie stuff in the game.

I'm not going to buy this game unless it is dubbed in Spanish.

Well shit, there goes all my free time. Not that I don't approve of an earlier release dates but the Witcher 2 and DoW 2 Retribution come out in March too. :(

Not much of a surprise here, since both Amazon and Gamestop have been giving March 15 as the street date and taking preorders for it for over a month now. Nice to have it confirmed, though.
