Bulletstorm PC to support Nvidia 3D Vision display
14
Based on all the promotional materials we've seen and hands-on time we've had with Bulletstorm, we can confidently say that the game looks to be what those in the scientific community would call "a trip." Epic Games has clued in our sister site Big Download to a feature that might exponentially increase said trippyness: The PC version of Bulletstorm will include 3D-display support, provided you've got the right kind of monitor, glasses and an Nvidia GeForce-based graphics card.
As excited as we are about the opportunity to freeze an enemy in the air, then kick him backward through actual planes of depth, we're actually more thrilled about something else: seeing the game's dialog as three-dimensional subtitles. It's like we can reach out and touch the "dick-tits."

@arkweld Including me! A lot of UE3 games have issues with shadows and effects not rendering properly in 3D Vision, so it's good to know they'll be paying special attention to making things look right in this one.

Including me too! It's not very expensive to get into 3D gaming. 3D projectors are cheap and it's compatible with even a 8800 GTS card (which surprisingly runs most new games pretty good).

If I was building a computer system I would buy one of those monitors for it. Even if you don't like the 3D or the game you play doesn't support it well, it still works as a 120Hz monitor. No point in a kick-ass gaming PC with the ability to run something at several hundred fps if your monitor can only show 60Hz.

I had a go with the 3D Vision recently in a store... won't be bothering to pick any up, let's just say that.

Yeah I did that at Fry's and their set up was a fail. I can't imagine how many buyers their kiosk turns off considering it either doesn't work half the time, or has settings all jacked. I didn't let it deter me and I bought it on my own. Couldn't be happier with the choice I made. It's pretty damn amazing at times on a projector.

Unfortunately, due to CliffyB stating there will be no PC demo, this game has the stink of Bad Console Port all over it.
