Smuggle Truck will be available in March, but Owlchemy thinks it would be a hoot to host a level creation contest in February with the release of the game's web-based editor app. It's also noteworthy that the game's art is being created by Bill Tiller, who was the lead background artist for LucasArts' classic adventure game Curse of Monkey Island, among other titles. Check out a pair of videos of the border jumping gameplay after the break.
Super Ramen Bros. dev returns with Smuggle Truck

Owlchemy Labs -- the development team that made iPhone game Super Ramen Brothers in 24 hours -- is back with Smuggle Truck, a physics-based driving game for iOS and browsers. The objective of the game is to smuggle illegal aliens and real aliens across an unspecified border, leaping chasms, catching birthing babies as they pop up from the back of the truck, and generally seeing to it that the precious "cargo" stays safe along the way to freedom.

Anything using the "Bros" at the end, has to be good.

Why is everyone so bent on being "politically correct"? Everyone gets poked and prodded from time to time, as long as its all in jest, no harm, no foul. People need to stop being so sensitive, and enjoy life, instead of making something worse than it really is.

I'm not saying it to be politically correct i just think its tacky and insensitive to make a game like this - both in its portrayal of a very real problem , both for the illegal immigrants who risk their lives & endure hardship to come into this country (illegally, yes) - and also tacky in that illegal immigrants and our unsecure borders are a problem in this country (over population to name one of the major problems, and not that theyre ''taking our jobs away'' like some might say).
i dunno. to make an iPhone game like this that treats the whole subject in such a "light & silly" way just seems lame. And if you knew me personally, you'd know that's a lot coming from me...
anyhow. be excellent to eachother my fellow nerds & have a cool weekend!

I'm glad someone here is a voice of reason.
On a side note, I can't wait for the sequel where you cut the weiners off of all the gay kids in your neighborhood.
I mean, geez LIGHTEN UP people.

@YellowTube I'm sure the developer feels the same way to a degree, it's sure missing out on a lot of free publicity.
In the end it's just a game and somebody is trying to make a joke about a problem. Would you feel better if instead of trying to jump a truck full of illegal immigrants it was a truck full of drugs, counterfeit goods, or some other illegal activity?

This is pretty unbelievable.
This is going to be removed from the App Store rather quickly. Extremely distasteful.

Get butthurt, comment on why this is distasteful, go back to brutally killing people in whatever current shooter you're playing.
