The past 2K Baseball games have been absolutely awful. I'll be skipping this years release too and just picking up The Show.

@Shig I want to like this game but I really like MLB: The Show's graphics and physics. It's a shame is not out for the 360.

I like that video a lot, but my one problem with it is that Tim Lincecum never threw a perfect game/no-hitter. He doesn't belong in that video.

@IRCheesecake82 Neither did Justin Verlander. Point of the video I think is to show near perfect games (Verlander, Lincecum) as well as actual perfect games (Halladay, Braden).

@aforty

Was the Verlander? I thought it was that other detroit pitcher that should of had the perfect game last year but the 1st base ump that butchered the call on the final play.

@jph89 Yes, Buerhle is in there (the one that should have had it, ump messed it up). Verlander is in there as well, he plays for the Tigers and had a near-perfect game as well.

@aforty wrongo. buehrle threw a no hitter in 2007 and a perfect game in 2009 for the white sox. gallaraga of the tigers had the missed call perfect game last year while verlander of the tigers has thrown a no hitter (not a perfect game though)

@shabby329 You're right. I was getting Buerhle and Gallaraga confused. Verlander still stands though and so does my point about the video.

Anyway why are we discussing this? 2K baseball series sucks.

@aforty yeah your point about the entire reason for the video was spot on i think (perfect games and near misses). and also good point about 2k baseball haha i really wish it was better, i only have a 360 and pine for a game of The Show's caliber

2k baseball blows. The Show has been better for years, I'd like to know how many units this game sells for PS, I wouldn't expect much. I wish they did some kind of major prize for NBA2k

They should offer everybody that buys the game a $60 off coupon for NBA 2K12. That would be the only way that this game sells well.

They're lucky that the Michael Jordon gimmick helped NBA 2K11 sell so well, as their other sports games (MLB, APF, NCAAB, and NHL) have done terribly lately.

I wouldn't mind seeing a Dock Ellis LSD no-hitter challenge, complete with psychedelic freak-out graphics.

Instead of wanting people to pitch a perfect game, why doesn't 2K make a decent baseball game.

The whole 2K11 naming thing is getting out of hand. I'm starting to get nauseous when I see a 2K## title.
