I still don't "get" Angry Birds. It's completely average to me.

Same here man, I played it for maybe an hour and still don't see how it's hugely popular. . . am I missing something? Or am I desensitized from amazing games?

NOOOO you're gonna now get downvoted by a bunch of angry kids who white out anybody who disagrees with their opinion!!

i agree with you, it didn't hold my attention for long. Games like Bookworm and Fruit Ninja did though.

Yea I've seen that happen a lot. It doesn't matter if you're right or not , if you go against personal opinions you're deemed not worthy enough to have readable comments. Sucks huh.

Anywho. I find Angry Birds is okay. I don't see the point of 100%ing it, but I do rather enjoy the first world. Anything beyond that and meh... you just spend hours on trial and error gameplay.

Yeah I agree, it is fun for a while but I have not touched it much lately. Gets too hard to be fun anymore.

@TraceurRyuk Prepping for LBP2 completely average for $3 is what all the hubbub is about i think. The game, even though avergae by our standards, was well done at least.

I personally love this game, but it' GOTY material as some websites have claimed it to be. Admittedly those websites are more casual than others, but hey, they still claimed it to be the coming of god
/exaggeration

It's great whilst I'm waiting for the bus or after a test.

It's popular with the average casual gamer. Hence why it's just average to you. It's enjoyable for me & it's a time killer when you're bored

Angry Birds is popular because it signifies where casual games are going. When's the last time an un-packaged cellphone game came with.

Polish
Ease-of-Use
Incredibly Cheap/Free

Angry Birds is so easily obtained and approachable it's becoming the "snake" for smartphones. Showing the potential of the new smartphone landscape...

It may be a simple concept that has been over done but the game itself unlocks levels in clever way with its seret stages as well as its extremely specific rating which makes it next to impossible to get a perfect on even the first level

@WMWLL Overshoot all the pigs so your bird hits the hill. The bird will bounce back in to the pigs causing a chain reaction of falling. Boom! Perfect on the first level...

@Bearxor

But do you think somebody would realize that on the first stage? When they are still learning the ropes?
