Wait, Motorstorm 3D Rift is $9.99? Why, oh why is Sony ripping us Euries off? Shit is €13.99, which is, even if VAT is included, nowhere near fair

Hey peeps with a Wii, how was extraction? Worth $15?

I'm looking for a new Move game.

@DrChristopher

You're going to fixed a mixed reaction. Some said it was short but had very good graphics, was a good rails shooter, and had a good story. Others thought it was just bad. Still, I think others resent that they gave the Wii owners a rails shooter instead of a legit free roaming game.

I think it depends if you like rail shooters. If you do, then you'll probably like Extraction.

@guttertalk

I was initially jaded that Wii weren't getting a "proper" Dead Space experience, especially after playing RE4: Wii Edition.

Then I actually bought Extraction (used... I have a hard time dropping $50 on really any game) and was introduced to the hands down best "on rails" experience I've ever encountered. It's one part cinema, one part amazing game. Enjoy.

@DrChristopher I think it's funny how this game used to cost $50.00 on the Wii, it still costs $30.00 on the Wii, and now PS3 owners get an HD version for $15.00 (or free with Dead Space 2). And now you are asking if it is even worth THAT much?

Only the limited/collector edition gets Extraction for free though right? What's the cheapest price I could get dead space 2 with extraction?

I just picked up Mass Effect 2 (AWESOME BTW), and though I loved Dead Space I think I may wait for the price to drop.

$15 is impulse buy territory, so I may just pick up Extraction in the meantime.

@DrChristopher Yea it's on the limited edition and collector's edition...so basically any copy that is available to purchase right now for PS3. So I guess the real question is Dead Space 2 worth $60.00 right now (or Dead Space 2 worth $45.00 and DSE IS worth $15???! However you wanna look at it)

You can get the Wii version new for $10 without much trouble.

I've only played the first level so far (bought DS2). I think it would be good with the Move, but it is tough with a regular controller. I don't know if I'll be able to beat the other levels unless I get the hang of it. It is really hard to hit the boxes off to the side when you are moving and the screen is bobbing....

Just for your info:

Dead Space:Extraction is, mainly, a Move-enabled game, but this game can also be played with the DualShock 3 controller.

Obviously, the game experience will be different of what intended but you will be playing it, if are interested in the story, because this game, explains many things that happened before Isaac, arrived on the Ishimura.

To be exact, this games happens just a few days before DS1. Isaac and the other crew in DS1, are sent to investigate what happened to the characters in DS:Extraction.

@SergeantGrumbles I believe just the Collector's Edition - though I have also heard of a Limited Edition. Whether there is such a thing or this is just a misnomer for the Collector's Edition, I do not know, but your ursine namesake should guide you well in this time of need.

It comes with the Collectors and the Limited editions. All PS3 versions are Limited editions for a while, like Medal of Honor or BFBC2

Thanks guys, appreciate the info. Was considering the CE edition to get extraction, but now I'll just opt for the "regular"/limited one.

And thanks Panko, but I'm afraid my namesake isn't very good at guiding anyone in their time of need, ha!

"Half as mature" sounds a little generous. I think you need a logarythmic scale to plot Bulletstorm and Dead Space maturity on the same graph.
