@Jack Kevorkian The game didn't soil the first one in any way. Go play the damn game if you enjoyed the world.

The last two hours of Bioshock is what soiled Boishock. B2 isn't bad. It's just that returning to Rapture for a whole game and filling it whole bunch of characters and places you "somehow missed" in the first game is a dumb idea. The game itself is alright, it's just a serious case of sequelitus.

If you enjoyed the general atmosphere and gameplay of the first then you'll probably enjoy the sequel.

That's like saying that you visited Washington D.C. and somehow missed seeing people and places.

Rapture isn't only the places that you see in the first game. It's a CITY. Of course there are people and places that were not seen in the first game.

@343 Guilty Fart

Thanks for the replies, seems that this game was not as widely accepted as the first one, but now I want to check it out even more. I'll probably pick it up today.

If this shift of work ever ends, that is.

I did not get an impression that Rapture was anywhere near the scale of Washington DC. i was also annoyed that Rapture seemed to be pretty much in the same state of disrepair and population over the past ten years. Dionysus Park was the only environment that looked as Rapture should.

Tell me about it. I bought the collector's edition of Bioshock 2 a year ago on a really great pricing on amazon (30$). I am yet to put it in my xbox. Family life sucks when it comes to playing game. I keep buying all these games but never find the time to actually play them. I think I could go a year without buying a single new game and still won't have time to finish all the games I bought already.

Loved BioShock, BioShock 2 is still a great game. Just bought Minerva's Den. Don't miss BioShock 2 because of some internet elitists.

I did the same thing, but played the game and liked it a lot. Are there serious plot issues? Yeah, but it's a fun game if you liked the first one.

@Ellimem nah when Ken Levine more or less didnt want to be associated with it I decided to stay away. It was confirmed as a good choice when my entire friends list, huge fans of the first game, told me to stay away.

you can call me an elitiest i guess but i usually listen to friend list reviews.

I love these publisher sales. My favorite part of this one are the excellent Xbox Original deals out there. If you dont already have Pirates! on pc you should treat yourself to this version.

Axel and Pixel for me. I had thought the game sold so poorly 2K would just abandon any thought of a sale. Glad I was wrong I loved the demo on that one but didnt like the price at first.

It took me forever to get this figured out, so for those of you curious about the differences between Undead Nightmare DLC vs. disc:

* The DLC will unlock a few weapons for use in the main game, the disc will not.

* Regardless of which version you have, the achievements will stack under Read Dead Redemption.

And that's about it, as far as I'm aware. Enjoy.

RRRRGGHH>!!! >:(

I JUST bought the Undead Nightmare Collection on SUNDAY! I didn't even play all of it! Ugh... (

WTF! That is a 600points difference! (1600 vs 1000...)

I just realized that as a DLC consumer, you have NO rights.

How many of you have bought DLC and within hours (if not days) saw a 30-60% drop in cost?

Whom should I complain to : Microsoft or Rockstar?
(I called MS Live support...got some texan that tried to rationalize that he bought all the COD map packs and then next day, they were all combined for lower point cost... and his point? he works for MS...he gets free points!!)

Sigh/.

Well what do you expect? If you don't buy it immediately it's bound to be on sale almost a year later and no major DLC is discounted shortly after release so the issue never comes up.

Just like every other product that's sold anywhere.

Tip for the future: don't buy something at full price after it's been out for nearly a year. Especially if it's a car.

Do you need RDR to buy RDR: Undead Nightmare? I ask this because I have RDR on the PS3...actually I don't even have that anymore because I let my brother borrow it. So is it possible to play Undead Nightmare without the disk; kinda like the Dead Rising DLC.

Actually, if you buy the physical disc (ie. not the DLC but the actual RDR: Undead Nightmare disc), I think you can play it without RDR on XBox. I believe Undead Nightmare is a standalone game when y ou buy the disc but not if you go the DLC route.

Is there anyone out there that can confirm this?

So great to see DLC on sale. First EA and Activision, now 2K games have cheap DLC!!! This is awesome, but remind me to not buy anymore DLC on day one. I still haven't touched Undead Nightmare and I bought it day one....

Don't buy anything digital (either downloadable games or DLC) on day one unless you absolutely have to have them and plan to play them right away. Within 3-6 months, there will be a sale on it, almost guaranteed.

I've been waiting for Minerva's Den to go on sale for months, I was starting to think everyone forgot about it.

Also, I have every RDR DLC except for Legends & Killers...my impression has been that it's just a few extra MP maps, but is it worth $5?
