On topic: I was never really interested in this but at least it's not total shit, for the developers sake.

Off topic: leaked Arkham City trailer of Batman and Joker teaming up. http://www.kewego.fr/video/iLyROoafzzNy.html Pass it around before it gets taken down!

@Bears That Beat Box The trailer re-uses dialogue from Batman and Joker and all of the character models (Batman, Joker, and cronies) are re-used from Arkham Asylum.

I know now. Just try and understand the hype I felt being one of the first to find a potential new trailer. Now that my head is back on my shoulders and out of my ass it's obvious I went fanboy upon the opening scene. :P

Wow, that score seems kinda high considering the rather ho-hum feel of the review.

According to Joystiq's rating system:
Three stars: "Maybe, but only if you like this type of game and are able to forgive some problems."
Four Stars: "If you like this type of game at all, you'll want to play it."

The review seems to fit somewhere between those, so the 3.5 stars makes sense to me.

I keep getting Breach and Brink confused. Reading this review, it's actually Brink the one that looks good, and this is the one that looks ignorable.

@DustbinK It should be noted hat there is aa $45 price different between the two.

But I also think Brink looks great.

@DustbinK: And it was this that actually led me to buying it on Steam when it was for $12. Talk about disappointment.

Yeah that's unusual. Usually its the other way around. But then again Steam hasn't gotten their evil hands on it yet....

@theCHENRY Gotta love Steam; its $11.99 on sale right now and will be only $15 when it's not. It looks like the $20 will be the cost of it in store. Seems like yet another incentive for a Steam purchase.

Quasi-on-topic, but not really: that first screenshot is pure awesome. Makes me think of Home Alone with a decidedly more militaristic vibe.

Game sucks. Bad Controls, laggy. Can't see shit in the night levels. The community probably won't last long either like most downloadable shooters.
I'll stick to CoD and BFBC2

Convoy isn't that original if you played wolfenstein enemy territory but it was still a game mechanic I loved and might pick this game up for that reason.

I saw Richard's gamertag in Giantbomb's quicklook of this game, it was pretty surreal.

I saw a joystiq gamertag in the gametrailers review of Dead Space 2 last night.

I was all like, "Heeeeeeeeeeeey...."

I was confused by Brink/Breach as well. This wasn't the one that was somewhat stolen from PAX East last year was it?

I feel sorry for the developers, Atomic Games. First they had to put up with Konami ditching them with their first game. Now they actually get a game released, but it looks just too plain and generic to the point that I doubt they will make much profit off of it.

I was able to stop reading at "Breach does not allow players to customize their loadouts during or between online matches."

No thanks.

Game isn't bad, nothing spectacular, but not bad. Sad thing is the matchmaking is absolute trash, ruins the whole thing.
