Brink to launch in May, followed by Hunted: The Demon's Forge in June

You thought that Bethesda would leave you alone until it assaulted your wallet with Rage in September, and then The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in November. No such luck, we're afraid. The company just announced it'll release parkour-based shooter Brink on May 17, followed by fantasy action game Hunted: The Demon's Forge on June 1. Have they no compassion?

In related news: We never noticed until this exact moment, but wouldn't Brink and Hunted be great names for a duo of hardened private dicks with noses for trouble? You know, just two long-gone daddies with fists of steel and hearts of gold mixing it up with the local toughs? Maybe May and June are their kind-hearted, cocktail waitress girlfriends? ... We're ... we're all going along on this one, aren't we?

@MLC I remember the last game that made the mistake of launching on the same day as a game from Rockstar. A really awesome game that people waited five years to play, called Alan Wake . . . that no one wound up playing, because they were all too busy skinning bears and cougars.

The lesson of the story being, let sleeping Rockstars have their launch dates all to themselves.

@MLC I actually didn't like that, at least have come out a few days later than the other. Idk how good it will be for Brink's sales to go up against a Rockstar game. Which developer does the public know more, Splash Damage or Rockstar?

Hopefully these aren't rushed. I mean, I love Bethesda, but Zenimax needs to get an EA like testing department.

Brink isn't being rushed. It's been years. It looked like a finished game in 2009. It will be amazing

I cannot wait for that game.

Played it at Eurogamer and couldn't get enough.

Then I will have RPGs year round to play then. Just picked up the Dragon Age Origins combo pack and playing that now, Two worlds 2 when I done, dragon age 2, hunted: demon forge(if its any good), and then rage and then Skyrim...yeah I'll be busy this year....but happy.

hopefully these titles offer a Demo. Bulletstorm was a disappointment to me, but Skyrim doesn't need a Demo. cause for those who need a demo can buy Oblivion for Cheap and then decide on to get Skyrim or not.
