Don't worry. I think they still sell Lisa Frank stickers in those quarter machines at the supermarket. You can jazz it up. :)

I don't see why they couldn't. Whether or not they could get The Last Guardian on the device is another question.

Still though, I have such nerd wood right now at the thought.

It looks and sounds great, but I wish they had announced the price. It's probably going to be quite expensive.

There's only one question I want to ask, and I don't even CARE about release dates. What's the battery life on this sucker?

Finally, a portable device with some meat on its bones. My hands may be tiny, but I'm sick of ultra-thin mobiles and handheld consoles.

I really love how they kept the PSP design basics and improved it. I'm tired of putting the system in standby with my palm while I play action games (stupid slider). As soon as pre-orders open, I'm on this.

They did not announce a price!!! :( They probably want to hear feedback from people and see what their reactions are to the device. Most likely announce price at E3 and I bet its at the $300 - $350 mark.

Remember when Nintendo said reactions to 3DS were so good they decided to price it a little higher?

Well, I think Sony may have learned their lesson after announcing price to PS3, PSP, and PSPgo before hearing how people respond.

Just make it a phone as well. Or allow users to use it as a phone, just sell it as the NGP and allow users to add their phone service to it. Other than that, looks great, sounds great, PS Suite is a great concept I have been screaming about for a long time and taking the home "console" experience on the road is great.

What amazes me how much Sony is embracing Android gaming. And what is awesome is that the PSP2 is totally equipped to play any cool Android games that come along. Best of both worlds.

My two problems with this, 1) the analog sticks are out too far for a handheld. Handhelds are supposed to fit comfortably in a pocket, , but now we're going to have analog sticks poking into our skin/pants. And 2) These backwards compatible PSP games are downloadable, meaning we have to shell out more cash for games we already own.

I seriously hope they're planning on keeping the PSP going simultaneously, because I sure as hell will not buy my PSP games all over again to use on an NGP.

It's definitely less novel than the 3DS, and a lot more capable, but then again, if I'm going to drop $400 on something like that, I might as well buy an iPad or a fancy smart phone. I think by making this thing ultra feature-full, they're blurring the line between the things they're competing against a lot more, and I think that does carry some risk at backfiring. Would I rather have a fancy gaming/media device and a simple phone, or vice versa. It's asking a lot for people to purchase high end devices on both fronts, and so they're going to have to make a choice. I don't think that choice is going to be overwhelmingly in favor of Sony.

Haha! And you'd think they'd adapt to the pspgo design. Well, it was doomed to fail from the beginning. Judging from the pics they learn pretty well on what design to follow which they should've just done from the many iterations of the psp. haha. Go NGP! can't wait for the specs and awesome release.

@Arcangel000

Well right now, the only major carrier not supportig 4G is AT&T. My bet is that you'll have to have a contract with them in order to use 3G. But that won't be a problem for me because my HD 2 with the Desire HD NAND boot rom, I can use my wifi hotspot so I can just use that.

@Prboi True, I could do that with my phone also. But my android device already has a major power problem and wasting my phones battery to play online seems like a no no. Maybe they'll surprise us, I mean it is not out till holidays. They are bound to make a few changes.
