While we spent the night imagining all the NGP's gaming possibilities and repercussions, the Engadget staff probably spent it combing high resolution photos of Sony's new device, looking for secret buttons and wondering how many ... wires are in it, or something.
But their obsession is your gain since they've come away with a ton of PSP comparison pics and even a video (which you'll find after the break). In the meantime, here's our technical analysis of the NGP: it's right-side up, which, as you can see from the photo, is a big step forward from its predecessor.
