Lego Star Wars 3 voice actors show off nonverbal talents

The quirky thing about Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars is that it features the actual voice cast from the television show, but limits them to nonverbal acting. Hngh!

Anybody else notice the split-screen play? The screen was separated in an angled way instead of a straight line. Is this a first for these games?

Did Obi-Wan just mug a dead guy?
Looks like a lot of fun. Can't wait!

I know it's not every Star Wars fan's cup of tea but I love Clone Wars. I wait for the blu-rays (since I personally can't watch it in HD when it's broadcast here in the UK) .
For the record I'm 22. The movie... wasn't brilliant so I wouldn't blame anyone for passing on the series after seeing that but the series itself is pretty awesome if you give it a chance.

Yeah, it's a great series! I also bought the first two seasons on Blu ray (waiting for the third to finish up and make its way onto discs), but not because I live in the UK and can't watch. I live in the US and don't have cable/satellite anymore lol.
The movie was a bit too long for its own good, but since the TV episodes are shorter, the pacing is much better.

Meh, the show breaks too much continuity for me to cheerily vouch for the show. I hate having stuff as fact that I've been reading in SW books for 15 years be overwritten by a one-off TCW episode that didn't really need to make the change it did. The big one in my mind is "Sphere of Influence" that had Greedo show up for no reason that needed his specific character. The EU for 15 years had already established he wasn't even born at the time of the Clone Wars(much less an adult fighting George Lucas' stand-in character), with his dad being the Greedo in TPM's deleted scenes. The EU is still reeling trying to retcon all that into one piece again. The episode didn't even need the character to be Greedo, it could've been any random Rodian bounty hunter and the plot would've been just fine. That's just one big example I can name that some people might get.
TCW is at a canon level above all the books and games and comics and only below the movies, which means anything it says that doesn't contradict the movies becomes law. They could say Revan was a 5 year old girl who performed ballet and never was a Jedi and there's nothing that could be done about it since KotOR falls into the canon level below TCW. That stuff really bugs me as a fan who's read many of the books and played many of the games and indeed prefers them to TCW and even some of the movies.
It's not all bad mind you. I love the episodes with clones, which tend to not clash with lore. I loved seeing the cameo from Republic Commando's Delta Squad in last week's TCW episode.

Does anyone else agree or is that voice actor of Anakin (Matt Lanter) a zillion times better then Hayden Christensen from the movies ...? lol He even looks the part!
