I've been wandering around for the past couple of weeks, you know, helping people out with towel safety and proper towel use. It's important.

I'd never tried Hydrophobia, figured this would be an excellent chance to. So, after playing the trial, all I have is this to say. Hydrophobia, more like Coprophobia.

Do you mean Crapophobia? The one thing that dissuaded me from buying that game is the guy with the awful Irish accent that talks way too much. It's that bad.

@Vyudo

Coprophobia: An abnormal and persistent fear of feces (bowel waste). Sufferers of coprophobia experience anxiety even though they realize their fear is irrational. They go out of their way to avoid coming into contact with feces or sometimes even seeing feces.

You using "Crapophobia" is just a pathetic attempt to twist words. Him using "Coprophobia" was actually clever and funny.

@Vyudo The Irish accent was one thing, but the main character girl's voice actor... I couldn't tell if she was an American with a bad fake British accent, or the other way around. She literally jumped accents by the second. Nevermind that the game is extremely unpolished. The only good thing I can say about it, from the demo, is 'oh wow, the water physics look neat.' I'm reminded of the developer's flipping out at the bad reviews of the game, as well.

@SpanWolf - This! I bought the game back in the summer when it first came out. Would definitely pick up the DLC if it had been on sale.

Why do I not know anything about Aqua? I just checked it out and it looks kind of cool. Has anyone played this that would kindly share their thoughts?

Top down ship sim strategy game.
I already have Age of Booty from back when it went on sale, I'm slightly tempted because of the comic style cutscenes but I think I'll pass.

I already own Hydro Thunder. I re-downloaded the Hydrophobia trial over the weekend but haven't gotten a chance to play it yet. Might make that my goal for tonight.

Me too. Even though I was hoping for a re-review after the huge update, I suspect at $5 I can handle the risk.

My thoughts exactly. I didn't think it was terrible before the update, so it has to be at least decent after the update. And I like supporting developers that listen to their fans and get shit fixed.
