What are you saying EA? That Mirror's Edge 2 will be a digital title? Is that it? Because I'l still buy it, you know.

It has begun. One day i will look back and remember how great it used to be when i would drive to the store in excitement of buying a new game. Reminds me of how i miss the days of cartridge based games. Time sucks, it only goes forward.

@OzCueball

I'm going to look at a HDD of games I have no interest in and think back on a time when I could sell my games and actually afford more than 2 games a year.

Medal of Honor was just such a let down, I wanted so much more from it.

With all these Call of Duty clones doing well and with publishers producing a new version every year, I am predicting a rhythm music game like crash in 2012. People will get tired of this formula like they did for Rock Band and Guitar Hero.

@FriedConsole I get the feeling that people like you just don't understand competitive online multiplayer. I gladly buy slightly tweaked fps games year after year because they provide countless hours of fun and excitement that no other games ever match. Also, FPS games have been popular for almost 20 years, since Doom and Duke Nukem. To try to compare the genre to music games is beyond asinine.

@Poor Tom

As somebody who has played competitive online since Duke Nukem over an IPX nextwork, I think I know a thing or two about it. The Call of Duty clone is a very specific FPS. I don't think the FPS genre is going to die. People will never get tired of virtually shooting people in head. Something new in the FPS world will replace the COD type and people will move on. My guess that the new FPS hotness will be jetpacks.

They made that much and then these dickbags pretend not to hear their loyal customers complaining about their shitty servers, busted achievements, various bugs, etc.

"Numbers Shipped"

I just noticed, if we went into a primary digital distribution world, that term will start to disappear because you can't ship a digital game.

Good for EA tho, maybe they shouldn't ignore the PC community as much. A la, DLC for some games. =D

I just recently picked up MOH and I'm quite enjoying the game. And NFS:HP just kicks all kind of ass.
