Peggle faithfully recreated in LittleBigPlanet 2
52
Having both Peggle and LittleBigPlanet 2 on the same plane of reality meant this had to happen sooner or later. With Peggle already on every platform known to man, and LBP2 molding itself T-1000 style into every game imaginable, why wouldn't we get the Plinko puzzler recreated in Sackboy's world?

Watch out for the music -- it's not necessarily bad, but it is loud.

Wow, does it exist any game that can't be remade in LBP2?

How's this "faithfully"? I don't see the religion in it.

The word faith is used a lot in religion, but it doesn't always have to be related to religion. Example: If you're faithful to your spouse, then you don't cheat. No religion necessary.
I'm not bashing religion at all, but you should think before you even bother bringing it up.

Dude, not everything is related to religion. Faith isn't just for religion.
"Faith is in general the persuasion of the mind that a certain statement is true, belief in and assent to the truth of what is declared by another, based on his or her supposed authority and truthfulness.Informal usage can be quite broad, and the word is often used as a mere substitute for trust or belief."
And people using it in a way that isn't related to religion doesn't mean we're all atheists. Well, I am, but irrational generalizations are never good. A little common sense goes a long way, friend.

Does anyone know of any other awesome LPB2 arcade/other game recreations?

I wonder if anyone has tried to make LittleBigPlanet 2 in LittleBigPlanet 2.

Hey, check what I found in youtube, the real original song to this.

Apparently it's an old Gaelic folks song.

@ShinFuYux For the sake of it, here's the normal version.

I'm amazed how people do that stuff. Honestly, when I first heard of this song, I thought it was like a kanye west work. Usually he does this kind of stuff in his music.

It'd be most helpful to LBP2 players and the level creators if in the future you guys could include the LBP.me link for any stories about LBP2 levels you post. :)

So I haven't played either of these...is it hard to make stuff in LBP2? Like, something like this, did they slave over it for months?

If they recreate lbp2 in lbp2 the world might blow up! That's like dividing by 0

If you were able to recreate LBP2 within LBP2 within LBP2...... Into infinity, would it not create an infinitely finite wormhole taking us back to where we started? Our would it allow us to see back in time? Or would present the end of the world? Or would it spawn Dark Matter? Or would it create a black hole?

Well done!!! I'm loving LBP2 more than anything, but I think I may be alone when I say "I HATE THAT DAMN SONG" with a passion. Most LBP2'ers love this track, which is cool - to each his own, but to me -- it more than defines the word irritating.

Why not just play the real deal?

@Flapjackal
LBP2 is about a user creating games for their enjoyment and potentially to test their game-making talents.
Seeing something as intricate as this is a) like being on top the k/d ratio leaderboards on Call of Duty and b) a fine statement on the shear creativity and features packed in LBP2.

Eh, its nice that someone made it but would I play it? No, I rather play the actual game Peggle.
Posted: Feb 1st 2011 3:04PM JCat said
@shimrra74 You missed the point. If you own Little Big Planet 2, it is just another game out of thousands you can jump in and play if you like that type of game. It's not like you're sitting there thinking, should I purchase Peggle, or LBP2 since it has a Peggle-like level made for it.

Hey! It's my level! :D Thanks for putting this up! I can't believe it's getting so much praise.
Sorry about the music. I used flipshare to make this and it doesn't have any settings.

I wonder if there will be companies getting their panties bunched up when these type of custom games are called the same as those trademarked commercial games. Even if it is a mod doesn't mean that trademark issues cannot arise like the World of Starcraft dispute.
