When I did a simulation with the current rosters, Packers won 32-13, absolutely raping the Steelers in the first half, holding them to just 24 yards overall, meanwhile racking up 174 passing yards.

We don't need a simulation to tell us the steelers are gonna lose this one. lol.

I was more excited when I thought Jets would be fighting Grizzly bears... I don't even know what a personification of a steeler would be... Not as interesting as a man-jet though.

@matthugh a steeler would be a steel worker.

@Xero Theory Yes, I realize that. Hence their mascot "Steely Mcbeam" the steel worker (I'm not even making that up!). However, in the realm of what I consider "fantasy" football... I like to think it would be a large steel girder facing thousands of disenfranchised factory workers packing "as seen on tv" products into larger than necessary boxes.

You should look up the "NHL Guardians" if you want to see the personifications of professional sports teams:

Madden has sucked since 2006 and that stupid passer cone vision gimmick.

And Madden 11 is actually very playable. It's not nearly as gimped as the more recent versions. The controls are simplified too. So it's not like you're learning a Flight Simulator game.

It's still madden at the end of the day, though. So...it's still only so much fun.

Ditto. madden 11 at least got the franchise back on good but not great terms. They have a lot to improve on but they are getting there...

i've never been a Madden guy but my brother has bought every game since 2002 when we got our GameCube. i play with him every once in a while. yes most of them just felt like graphics and roster updates but Madden 11 really took a leap forward. it was the first one that i noticed changes right away instead of having my brother explain to me why this one is better than last year's. i'm actually kind of looking forward to 2012. Clay Matthews on the cover please?

@erh I looked up hang egg and its pretty funny they talk about football being for fat lazy americans. But american football has probably the best athletes in the world and i would bet that an american football player could out preform and soccer player in the world at any given sport including track and feild. The world wants to hate on amercia but its cool thats why everyone in the world who plays a given sports goal is to make it to an american league excluding soccer. Because theyre all filled with the best talent and make the most money and have the widest market. Sorry you fail. How many soccer players have retired from playing and have gone on to successfully transfer to another sport? Not too many that im aware of. Where as just to give one example Matt Mitrione and Hershal walker (whos pushign 50 now) are both starting successful careers in MMA. No soccer player could do that because theyd get breathed on and fall down pretending they just got some major internal injuries. Soccer is full of bad actors and people who couldnt make it in cross country not real athletes sorry.
