Is there gonna be a mini game to see how many puffs the player can do on a bong? What a button smasher that'll be.

@Dance Mofo
It's a Kinect game, so I wonder if it'll include a bong peripheral...

Button masher... in a Kinect game?

@Dance Mofo: It's Kinect, what buttons? I suppose "what a vague gesture spammer it will be" is more appropriate.

@MGTrey Hahaaha I just noticed Michael Phelp's name, the picture, and the thought of when he was caught hitting a bong. Everything else went out the door.

"you need some ropes and pulleys for this to really work"

Wait, you mean it won't work if I lay down some couch cushions on the floor and lie down?

@Ezio Auditore da Firenze: The Kinect wouldn't see you. Don't worry, it's not because you're so stealthy Ezio, it's just a limitation of the hardware (or software, who really knows these days with everyone hacking the Kinect into something awesome). .

@MGTrey
actually it will see you fine, a lot of exercise games have floor work... however you'd need an awful lot of cushions to get up high enough to not be smacking into the floor with your arms on every stroke...

Personally I predict arm based, waggle-like, pointless and poorly recognized mini-game collection...

Kinect is neat but until it helps me levitate I'll stick to things that make sense in my living room... once it DOES help me levitate however... *shifty eyes*

@Agnostiq: Really? Well, isn't that embarrassing? Proven wrong on the damn internet...I may never recover.

I assumed because anytime I'd go prone in between rounds of Kinect Adventures or Dance Central (don't ask), it would stop tracking me. Ah, well, you know what they say about assuming...

Anyways, thanks for clearing that up for me.

@MGTrey It stops tracking you because you are in a position the game is not built to recognized. As such it pretty much just assumes you have fallen down. Kinect tracks you kn the floor just fine however.

Of course, this still begs the question of when the old ball-bearing boardgame shooter, CROSSFIRE, will be ported to the KINECT. I figure if Michael Phelps can get a game, so should CROSSFIRE.

I suppose this would work out well enough if you own a gurney. Follow an ambulance around long enough and you can snag one for free.

Pre-order bonus is shaving cream and a shaver. Less body hair means less friction and gives you an advantage in the game.
