I did the exact same thing. I'm glad I got to finally try it out.

Just imagine, one of these days you're going to be able to search for 'cheeseburger', and then.......

Yeah...

@Rizraz

Actually I'd rather be directed to kongreagate, armor games, or the developers own website than have Bing watch me play. It's kinda creepy knowng microsoft is sitting there looking over your shoulder as you match colors.

I thought Bing's initial campaign was about taking out the time-wasting portion of search engines? Adding anything with PopCap involved seems like a horrible way of increasing productivity.

If Bing didn't give out Microsoft Points for using it, NO ONE would use Bing.

At approximately 11:00pm EST Joystiq posted an article about several popular games being playable in the Bing search engine.

Joystiq announced that following the article their website traffic completely stopped. Joystiq editor-in-chief Chris Grant was unavailable for comment and was reported to be "busy with research".

Yeah, because Google never borrowed anything bing has done first

So I read the article, headed over to Bing and now, 1 hour later, I'm hear to report that yes: this is awesome.

Guess what's missing from that list: Pacman. Oh, and get this; Google has Pacman available to play. The whole thing. From within the web browser. Wow Microsoft. Wow. They might as well just stop trying with Bing. Google has them beat in every way. Microsoft should stick to operating systems and game consoles. They shouldn't even be in the search engine space to begin with.

Pac-Man? Pshh, if they had Mrs. Pac-man that might be worth bragging about.

As long as bing gives me points I can use to purchase excellent XBLA games, its all good in my book. Its not like I haven't been able to get the searches I look from using it so all is good. Not only that but using maps feel better, multimedia like videos and images are better and a buch of other little things that Bing does that are better than google. If anything it keeps google working and hopfully not complacent.

After the recent evidence that Bing is stealing data from Google I don't think I'll be going near Bing with a barge pole.

@VeeDeeVee Google's version of events wasn't the final word on the matter. You might want to hunt down Microsoft's response.
