@Dopple Boppler

God damn, that was annoying.
I didn't know it was meant to be a vehicle, and walked around for ages looking for Thunder Tower...

Hoo, with this and Pokemon the DS is going out with a bang. Now if only I actually had money after reserving my 3DS to buy these

DQVI is awesome. Glad it's finally coming here officially in some form.

The original Super Famicom version really looked great, though. I kind of wish that was included or something, but what can you do.

I've only played and beaten DQIV for the DS. It was awesome. This pretty much looks like more of the same + different story, which is good enough for me.

This is my favourite installment in the series. I've played through the fan translated SNES version multiple times. I look forward to another playthrough with all the updated visuals and other mechanics.

Ok, can someone please explain to me why this DQ6 remake uses a crappier engine than DQ9, which was released earlier?

Seriously, this appears to use the DQ4 remake engine. Why? DQ9's engine is really nice--fully 3d environments plus 3d characters, nice textures, etc.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm glad they're bringing this stateside in at least some form. But I'm getting really tired of SquareEnix constantly giving us outdated rereleases of old games.

@JCDoe I honestly don't see a problem with the graphics. It still gives it that classic feel while updating the graphics to a decent and enjoyable level.
