fps games do not work well with ds... doubt it will work well on a 3ds. Yall need to stick to 3rd person shooters if any at all.. However conduit was good so I give you the benefit of the doubt and hope you implement it well.

Eh... I felt it worked pretty well with DS,
Then again, I only played one... for not very long...

@emperorzeroxx I respectfully disagree with your opinion. I had a blast playing Metroid Prime Hunters online (till the hackers f'ed it up) and put in some decent amount of time with Call of Duty: WaW.

It definitely works fine in my opinion. The cramping had very little effect on me, but I understand to each their own.

Really? For me, the DS has the best control system for shooters, right after keyboard+mouse. Very precise.

Mine. I'm looking forward to Conduit 2 just as much as I am looking forward to Gears 3.

And this is awesome. Conduit on the go!

Pretty cool.

I hope this inspires some more titles to make the jump from Wii to 3DS.

Wouldn't mind a 3D Galaxy, DK, etc...

Awesome! The first Conduit was sweet, so this is great news. Hooray for High Voltage!

Not even a portable version could excuse the first Conduit's monotonous level-design, and average gunplay. Unless the second game suddenly turns it all around, I think I'll pass.

@ouenwoof

I didn't like Conduit 1 at all, but there seems to be a pretty big following.

Either that or your downvotes are just a small example of the great democracy they have here at Joystiq.

Every time I hear about these guys, I can't get that Electric Six song out of my head: "Danger, danger, high voltage! When we touch, when we kiss!"

Someone shoot me... D:

@Wintrale

Can you get Dick Valentine's glowing crotch from the music video out of your head? Because I can't.

@Wintrale Thanks...my curiosity got the better of me, so I checked out the video...and upon listening to it, I'm reminded of the drab and boring "White Collar"...

I hope theres a button only option. (Im a fan of the Stylus + D-Pad control scheme from DS FPS'es but if the hand cramp kicks in its nice for them to have one).

Although im interested to see how buttons will be implimented. Go inverse and let the ABXY buttons do movement whilst your left thumb controlls the camera on the Circle pad. Its gunna be weird at first but with that layout you could have something special on your hands.

@mguniverse They dropped the 'the' awhile back. The original is still called The Conduit, but since then the series is now Conduit

It's cleaner as Justin Timberlake would say playing Sean Parker

"Shining star" Is a pretty big claim for a company that hasn't really made anything good. Just average. ..Or worse, with cartoon Cash-ins like Dora & Ben 10.

Good luck..

This again, eh? They already tried this "shining star" song and dance when they were boasting about the amount time and effort they were going to put into The Conduit to have it be the premier Wii FPS title. Then they took the same approach to hyping Gladiator A.D., which turned into the mediocre Tournament of Legends. These guys are as bad as Molyneux.

Is it just me or does this series just seem more appropriate for the 3DS?

I didn't like The Conduit's art style or visuals, but they're making steps with The Conduit 2 and I could really see this series shining on the 3DS rather than on a home console where it's almost expected to compete with other modern shooters (something the first certainly didn't. The second looks cool enough multplayer-wise, though).
