This reminds me of those old video tapes that I used to get in the mail about new Nintendo games coming out. Donkey Kong Country, Star Fox 64, Diddy Kong Racing, etc. Good times.
Only thing is, all those tapes showed off a good amount of actual game footage. Here we have a 10 minute video with a single gameplay clip 3 seconds long. It's like they're embarrassed to actually show the game.
There are plenty of moments where Mario talks about the characters, the sports, and the courts, so why not splice in a couple seconds of gameplay video into that?

The best part about this is Mario's impersonation of Nintendo Corporate management around 1:30. Somehow this massive stereotype of Italian Americans makes the corporate voice of a 100% Japanese company sound like Ted Koppel.

I never realized just how excruciatingly dreadful a voice could be to the human ear. It's fairly tolerable when he is just shouting out simple phrases, but not at all when he is speaking in actual full-on sentences. I'll just have to assume that nearly everyone responsible for making this video was either deaf or had forcibly plugged their ears with play dough. If anyone is capable of listening to him talk for 10 minutes then I will be extremely impressed and horrified.

I didn't like the Mii characters very much, but I actually really enjoyed that video.
It seems very strange that they'd get Mario to say more than a few phrases, in all of the Mario & Luigi games, Mario wasn't even allowed to say a sentence, let alone talk for 10 minutes.
Still that worked much better than i'd imagined it would. Much better than Brooklyn Mario.

Nintendo: please do not make a full length movie of Mario and Mii's...please.
4 games is a concern. Maybe they're holding out for a sequel. I think skiing (moguls, slalom, downhill), bobsledding, snowboarding are all naturals for Mario...WITHOUT Sonic.
