PSA: Nail'd demo hammers Xbox Live

Though we liked the game, you still might be wondering if Techland's ATV racer Nail'd is your cup of, er ... nails? Good news then: There's a demo of the game now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace -- currently only for Gold members -- that'll drive you to either buy, rent or delete.

One time I accidentally hit my thumb with a hammer instead of the nail. Does that mean I'm extreme enough for Nail'd?

It's a really good game although I'd rather play Pure the majority of the time as it has slightly more depth.

I saw there was DLC for this game before I ever knew Nail'd _was_ a game. Gonna check out the demo tonight.

I still don't understand the mentality of releasing a demo after...well after...the game is released. I mean, sure, it will generate knowledge of the game regardless but a pre launch demo helps generate more momentum and desire for the game (especially since this one launched during holidays). It would be the equivalent of releasing a movie trailer only after the movie is released.

Fair point, although the difference is that *theatrical* movies have a much shorter shelf life than a $60 game. Yes, most interest is garnered on "opening week," but most studios all but cease advertising within 2 weeks after release, whereas a $60 product is intended to remain on shelves for months.

Call me crazy. I found the demo to be a lot more fun than Pure. The negative reception kept me away from this game, but the demo pulled me right back in. Track design can be really neat at times.

I might have to dust off the ol' 360 and give this a whirl!

Gold members only? Odd, I've got a (European) Silver account and I could download it.

I've tried the demo on my PS3 and I didn't like it. I liked much more Pure even being similar games, I felt like having more control. I didn't buy Pure though, no trophy support and too busy with motorstorm by that time XD

It's a fun game, but hard to justify at full price.
