Well that's nice at least. Makes the extra ten bucks worth it.

It's not 'for free' ...

It's either 'free of charge', or 'for nothing'. Don't mix the two!

Sorry, pet hate.

I'm now expecting the same/similar deal for Crysis 2 now, EA Store.

This would be more enticing if it were for Steam.

@QuePasa87 That's the point, EA doesn't want you to get it off of steam. They make more money if there is no middle man and you buy it directly from them. That's why the Dragon Age 2 preorder wasn't available on steam until the day after the signature deluxe special edition (whatever it was called) was no longer available. Most of EA's PC deals lately have been straight off the EA store.

Screw this. If you want me to plunk down some money on a pre-order, give me a proper demo.

@Apakal
there is a demo on the ps3 (and I assume on the 360 as well). I can tell you from the ps3 version though that it is very rewarding and fun. its just like a little ball of enjoyment with its over the top violence and the weapons and the entire atmosphere. it might not be revolutionary, but its a lot of fun and a good change of pace from some of the big name games that take themselves pretty seriously

Well, perhaps poor communication on my part.

I was referring specifically the non-existent PC demo. The one platform where a demo is actually really important not just to try the game, but to see if I will be able to run the game at a setting that will make my purchase actually worth the money.

I don't doubt that the game is barrels of fun. I've been watching all the videos and I'm pretty pumped about it. I just want a PC demo.

So EA has this and Steam has pre-ordering Homefront and getting Metro 2033 for free. Now THIS is what I'd rather see with pre-order bonuses rather than special packs you get for free that might give you a leg up against opponents or special in-game equipment you can't get normally. I might actually end up doing this since I loved the demo for the game

epic should make a game worth buying first, they shouldnt have to tie every other product they make to a game just to move units

the bonuses and betas just make it look like the game cant stand on its own merits and the demo doesnt help their argument either

EA Store is a friggin mess. Their system doesn't even work correctly. You try to get into your account but it asks for a username which their system doesn't recognize because they switched to using the email address to log-in in the rest of their branches. You can't contact EA Store's Support because it requires you to log-in with a username too. Ugh.

Shank is a good game, just make sure you abuse the block button. I usually don't do well in beat em ups because i never block but this game punishes you on the bosses unless you block and wait until the boss reveals its weakness.

Finally! I will not have to buy Shank for 9,99, and get Bulletstorm for 49,99! Now I can get both for 60,00!
