That's right: Ubisoft's Tom Clancy's HAWX 2 will be half-off on Steam this weekend, bringing it down to a more alluring $24.99 price point. The sale even extends to the "Open Skies" DLC currently available on Valve's service; it's also 50 percent off during this sale, bringing it down to $4.99.
Wannabe pilots, take note: the sale ends February 14 at 10AM PST, so any tower buzzing will need to be initiated prior to then. Good hunting!

Beside the fact that it's not a very good game, it's also crippled by Ubisoft's DRM, so expect to drop out of the sky if you don't have permanent, flawless wifi in your jet.

Well, now what you say is very interesting, even more because until this day there is no crack for this game.... So i was wondering did it sell millions of copies??? did it became the number 1 seller ??? no??? I wonder why?? i mean piracy for this game right now is equal to none.... as i said there is no crack for it, then why it didn“t sell like hot-cakes?? oh yeah... maybe because the game stinks, so the DRM was good for nothing because at the end as we all know if a game is crap is not going to sell period... Maybe ubi can start to dedicate more time to check their games and actually make them good instead of wasting so much time and money on a DRM that only caused to keep away the few guys who actually were interested in their game........

@Hunter141072 And I'm one of those guys, the first HAWX was good, loads of fun. I wanted to buy this one but then when I saw it needed a constant Internet connection I said no. I also heard it was pretty crappy. If they want good copy protection, they should use a USB dongle, that works and can't be easily cracked. All the other games that require a constant internet connection have been cracked. So it's a waste of money and it scares away customers.

By reducing HAWX 2 by 50%, we can further ensure that few people will buy the recently released OnLive version!

The console version is $30 at Target. Ubisoft and Target seem to have some thing going on between them. Or a Shawn White between them.

Even if it was on sale for $5 I wouldn't get it solely based on its awful DRM.
Screw you Ubi. I will speak with my wallet.
