Are you waiting to dip into LittleBigPlanet's Community-made levels until one clear-cut champion of creativity and artistry breaks through? Well, Mr. Hoity-Toity, you should get ready to play the heck out of "Hansel & Gretelbot," a seven-level LittleBigPlanet 2 adventure coming from a collaboration between 12 of the community's most celebrated creators.
Check out a trailer for the fairy tale-centric project after the jump. It looks like it's got enough polish and charm to rival the quality of the game's pre-loaded levels. According to PlayStation Blog, the homebrewed adventure is "very nearly ready to launch" -- we'll let you know as soon as it does!

Nah, but seriously, this looks like it's gonna be really good...this is exactly what the LBP2 community needs, more high-quality series' like this one...with as much talent as I see from those on PSN creating solo levels, is nice to see events such as this one...I'm even hoping for some kind of in-game implementation or announcement spotlighting this project...

This looks like it'll be really cool. I hope some other people do some things like this. It's pretty amazing what people can do with the tools in this game.

question does our DLC from 1 transfer over? As I'd like to get LBP2 but I don't want to miss my costumes.

@The Aquacharger My costumes transferred over. Your Sackboy will be dressed exactly the same when he pops into LBP2 as he was when you last saw him in LBP1.

Cool, I'm less hesitant to pick it up now. When I get the cash I'll have to do so.

Awesome. More stuff like this will greatly enhance the user generated content side of LBP, and help separate the masterpieces from the cannon fodder.
