Its also fitting since they haven't stopped making (constantly high quality) games since like 1997. Take a nap insomniac! ( but, really please dont, your games rock)

I LOVED Disruptor! Awesome PS1 game. Cheesiest full-motion video story sequences between levels. Seriously awesome game for its time though. Really cool environments, switching between psionic weapons and guns... It was essentially a Quake mod in terms of quality, but it was a really good old school FPS.

@Cap Morgan

Can we use Google or will that ruin the fun?

All I know is the guy who Mario is based off of was a landlord of some building?

Xtreme Software is about as '96 as they get.

Have we gotten a "What's in a Name" for Valve yet?

Oh wow a lot of Insomniac fanboys out tonight. Yeah they've made some good games, and some that are terrible and I could never play again.

@VeeDeeVee Which of these titles are you referring to? I'm not an Insomniac fanboy myself, but I am curious what you consider to be terrible. I guess some of the Ratchets are somewhat stale, but not terrible by any means.

Disruptor, Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!, Spyro: Year of the Dragon, Ratchet & Clank, Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando, Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal, Ratchet: Deadlocked, Resistance: Fall of Man, Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Ratchet & Clank Future: Quest for Booty, Resistance 2, Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time.

It seems like every one of these "in a name" articles has the people saying "it was actually available!"

Like 2DBoy, who shockingly got the 2dboy.com address.

Fall of Man is still their best work, IMO.

Rule #66 Resistence: Fall of Man should be played on a daily bases to observe one thing, glass-breaking awesomeness!

How did they model such realistic glass breaking?

As awesome as I think Cat's Cradle is, seems like Insomniac might have been a better name for the long term anyways. Also, there is a real Ice IX, which between Vonnegut's Ice-9 and the real Ice IX, the company may have had IP/Trademark control issues down the road anyways.
