Stay afloat, Atari. I love those little gems you're publishing. Can't wait for the Wii platformer called The Kore Gang. And it's only $19.99. WIN!

@ForeverAndEver

I would like to see F2P become the gradual shift to MMO's

Though it may be a wishful dream.

I remember when a lot of people thought the F2P model was a bad thing. Lol my how times change. Now everyone wants games like WAR, Star Trek and Conan to go F2P.

@hami83

Too bad wow will never go free to play. I thought it was not a bad little time waster when I tried the free trial a couple of times but I wouldn't actually pay to play it.

That's welcome news for F2P MMO fans! CO gets a little boring after a while for my taste but that's just personal opinion... It's still a superb game for fans of comics.

I think LotRO is more fleshed out in terms of content in the traditional fantasy way... who doesn't like middle earth fantasy!?

@Stevetrop Man of Mystery
it's the new standard. The vast majority of standard MMOs these days are either F2P... or dead and dying. The genre is just too saturated, and there isn't enough of a quality difference between the best F2P MMOs and the subscription ones to justify subscribing in most player's eyes.

Wow is the obvious exception.
