Joystiq Blueberry Muffin Tops Breakfast at PAX East Part 2: Blueberry Boogaloo

Tradition. A word we are happy to use in describing our Second Annual Joystiq Blueberry Muffin Tops Breakfast at PAX East, brought to you by the fabulous folks at Malt-O-Meal and your buddies at Joystiq, who already have a couple things planned for the convention.

If you're heading to PAX East and will be around on Saturday, March 12, please feel free to join us for the exceptional price of free, for the galaxy's finest cereal (yes, galaxy, we've talked to aliens): Blueberry Muffin Tops.

The only catch... nope! No catch this year. Just show up at room 052 at 10AM on Saturday. The room does only hold about 500 people, so please be aware of that. If it sounds like we're going to be overwhelmed, we may implement a bracelet system like last year, which we'll certainly announce on the site. Yeah, I associate muffin tops with fat traufs, commonly referred to here as a walligator or in other parts, a sea donkey.

They don't have homes, they don't have jobs, what do they need the top of a muffin for? They're lucky to get the stumps.

Only Malt 'O meal cereal I've tried was the mini wheats type. Definitely gonna stick with the original.

When you say "original", do you mean original brand?

There is no original brand of Blueberry Muffin Tops. It's one of their originals.

That's what I meant, the original brand of Miniwheats. You implied you had a bad experience with the Malt-O-Meal version.

And that's where I am saying there is no original brand of Blueberry Muffin Tops, it's an original to Malt-O-Meal. And they are awesome. Try some. If you like blueberries, you won't be disappointed.

I probably will. Theres none at my work (Big Lots, I've seen them there before) and I didn't see any at safeway so I gotta check next time I am at walmart.

I tried but can't find Joystiq's premium cereal brand on the West Coast. We have Malt-o-meal just no blueberry muffin tops. Anyone know if they sell this in California?

I had these for breakfast today.

They are great.

I was at last year's Muffin Top panel. I bought so much of that cereal after. That was a fun panel too, and so was hunting down the location of the pic at 7 in the morning. Sad there's no hunt this year.

You guys need to come to PAX West (i.e. the real PAX) sometime.
