Rock Band Weekly: Pat Benatar six-pack

A Pat Benatar six-pack is next week's Rock Band DLC offering. Oh, Pat Benatar. Her music and iconic videos during the early days of MTV traveled on parallel lines of logic. There's "Love is a Battlefield," forever remembered for its shoulder shimmy and then there's the toilet-papered land of "We Belong." Also, in retrospect, the drummer in that latter video totally looks like Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs.

@wcarnation I'd also like to say thanks to Harmonix for not overloading Rock Band 3 with post-2000 music and metal like they did RB2. Now if only we could push a bit forward and get some more 90s in.. I haven't seen the Pixies in awhile!

You would literally kill for an album on Rock Band? Why not just (sorry I have to be "THAT" guy) learn the songs in real life? They're pretty simple.

Also, Surfer Rosa isn't a 90's album.

Regardless, I know for me, having kick ass songs that my friends and family would enjoy playing and would also make any RB party more fun, is a little different than me whipping out my guitar and scratching out Surfer Rosa.

I'm a big Pat Benatar fan, and my wife would love to sing the parts, but I'm not buying this.

Yes! Been waiting forever for Fire and Ice, Love is a Battlefield, and We Belong. Having only Heartbreaker and Hit Me With Your Best Shot wasn't enough.

Is it just me, or does it seem like every weekly Rock Band DLC update is either classic rock, or some 80's pop like this? Whatever happened to CURRENT artists putting out music for this stuff?

Although this may be a little off subject, the choreographer of Love is a Battlefield is the same who worked with Michael Jackson for Beat it and Thriller. His name is Michael Peters and............. I'm gonna go now.

I think it's hilarious seeing all the people bitching about these songs. Guess we know which posters don't have girlfriends now. I sent this list out to mine and I'm guessing we're going to wind up getting at least a couple of these.

It'd be really awsome to get some Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Buffalo Springfield, Santana, Little Richard, The Byrds, Mamas & the Papas, Joe Cocker, Canned Heat, and more from Joplin, the Band, and Jefferson Airplane. The 50's and 60's are the 2 greatest decades in music history and RB needs more songs from those decades!
