This model is screwed when black bullets show up.

@Acosta02 Couldn't you just...turn it on it's side? I mean, what would happen?

Would it be invincible to both types of bullets?

Seriously. Ikaruga is my all-time favorite game. Ever.

You, my little replica friend, will be sitting at my desk come Summer.

$46? That's actually not too bad.

I was expecting it to be $487 plus be limited to 2 days only. considering that's how most game models are, especially ones coming from Japan.

I have no idea what the game is, or what this model is, but it's refreshing to see one that's not "Rape your wall, and take out a loan" expensive.

And YES, I know this is unassembled.

Same thoughts. I was expecting around the 375 dollar range.

Resisting joke about using the "hole in the wall" (http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/radio/specials/1728_uptodate/page27.shtml)

Well, Kotobukiya is a large-scale model company. Most of the really expensive stuff consists of limited run resin kits from companies that consist of three guys in a garage.

That said, for the same price you can get a detailed VF-25 Messiah from Macross Frontier, which can transform into Battloid, Gerwalk, and Fighter modes. Kotobukiya is still a bit more expensive and a bit less quality than Bandai.

Unassembled and unpainted. Probably takes quite a bit of work and skill to get it looking as nice as in the picture.

I remember seeing this image about a year or so ago. Still as beautiful now as it was then.

First the three Megaman kits (Rock, Roll, and Protoman), then a PSO RAcaseal kit, and now this? Kotobukiya, you are my favorite toy/model company ever.

As much as I like Ikaruga, I must say: those megaman kits are my new objects of obsession

Fantastic! It's a great looking kit and as an avid model-maker myself I'm looking forward to building one up.

First, Joystiq, what's up with your spam protection lately? :) *points at poster (sdffsdkjhsd) above*

That's one neat bit o'plastic. Too bad my model making skills suck really hard :(

Seeing this makes me want to ask but one question.

When will we see Radiant Silvergun.

Well lets make that a question and a wish. I pray to the video game gods that Treasure brings us Guardian Heroes too.

FFFF...I have no idea how badly this will go, given my poor painting and gluing skills.

Building snap-on Gundams has not prepared my body for this!

@(Unverified) Worry not, they said I needed glue and paint for my Armored Core Tellus, but it snaps on fine and though could definitely use a paint job, is passable as a straight build!

I'm so jealous of you, Live Users, to have this game... doesn't matter how many shooters come to PSN, it's not even close to the satisfaction and well polished that Ikaruga is...

Man, I want that model so bad... I feel like it's calling me...
