OK, so why aren't the professional development studios doing fun things like this? I don't get it, you can do all kinds of fun stuff with the Kinect, and all we get is Sonic Riders...

@warren2345
PCs using Kinect receive about four times the image resolution that the Xbox would receive.

@DreadArrow

That's not accurate, the PC drivers were always based on spying on Kinect/Xbox communication.

@Raffi256 Your both probably right to a point.

The Kinect is in point of fact a Natal with a lobotomy So the PC drivers while spying on the data that the Kinect sends or would send to the Xbox doesn't necessarily mean it doesn't get to deal with higher resolution.

The Xbox could well be dismissing or combining data to reduce the processor requirements on its part, resulting in a lower resolution from the same source materials.

But then that's all pure conjecture.

@warren2345

So now its ok for people to hack their things? I guess j.s needs a reality check... why isnt anyone hating on these hackers like they do on the ps3? regardless if its a system and a peripheral, hacking is still hacking and what you do with it is their issue, not yours.

Will games like this come onto indie games? Rather than just hacks?

isn't this the same thing as the game in Kinect Adventures?

@itskrislol
Na, but somewhat similar I guess. The Adventures game has you dodge left/right jump or duck. This is more focused on poses.

I would love that on Kinect. Warioware is just so random and fun.

Sweet a game like this is one of the first things I thought of when kinect launched. That and a wipe out type game.

The concept and tech really are a good match. Just get a 3D character in there which follows player movement and ragdolls on failure\impact, sort out a procedural hole-generator that is able to take player proportions into account and achieve any desired 'difficulty', give it graphical polish and some competitive multiplayer and you've got yourself a game!
