Move over, Gran Turismo 5 -- Omni Bus is a real driving sim

Gran Turismo 5, Forza 4 and Shift Unleashed 2? Babytime frolics, friends. A series of videos highlighting German-made Omni Bus prove that it's taking driving simulators to the next level. Not since Densha de Go! have we been so intimidated by a game.

YouTube user macelqnt has been steadily uploading videos from the game, the latest of which you can see past the break. Omni Bus is available for purchase right now! An English version of the game can be found here and, if you're having trouble getting your bus ta' move, an English manual will be available for download tomorrow.

Untill you can recreate the smell of piss tramps vomiting on your shoulder accurately then this game has some real balls using the word 'simulation'.

No, they swim away, their faces showing no emotion whatsoever. This is a real life simulator, and emotions have no place in real life.

Also, their swim animation and their walk animation are one and the same. It's called budget-awareness.

I suddenly have a GTA itch.

Rockstar should buy this game's developer and make him do this for GTA 5.

I think God Bus would be a more fitting name.

I'm getting to much enjoyment out of watching those people walk like they have coat hangers in their shirts and wood sticks for legs.

When I was in elementary school, a bus driver once hit a pothole at such a speed that me and a friend when head first over our seat, and landed on our asses in the seat in front of ours.

Fun times. I hate buses though.

I love how you can play with the windows and shit. That attention to detail is very, very... German.

I've already made a full size OmniBus cockpit replica in anticipation of it's US release.

What the hell? He just closed a window in the middle of the bus FROM THE DRIVER'S SEAT. Someone tell me how that is a simulation because sir I cannot reach the length of half an omnibus.

How do you provide public transportation for a population of people with sticks up their asses? Can they even sit?

Someone should mod the desert bus trip into this. Then those poor poor charity guys can get the great gift of a slightly different game to play as a reward for all that child's play money they raise.
